Add to that Nat Fyfe. Confirmed he's broken the same leg as he did in last year's finals. I guess we can say welcome Connor Blakely.

Now this is isnt JUST directed at Freo, but footy clubs in general, a bloke has a hamstring tear and a medial ligament, and he goes back on the field. Stupidity. You could see he couldnt run, yet some "brains trust" decides he is "ok" to go.

Yep you won't get any argument from me , why they gave Fyfe a jab at half time after his previous issues defies logic as well, he was dumped on the concrete just in front of me you could see he wasn't right straight away.

That's what we are facing, 2 or 3 years of pain while we clear the decks and replace them with some high end draft picks. Cross your fingers and prey those Victorians in charge of recruiting don't fuck it up.

How can you blame "those Victorians in charge of recruiting" Even PN wouldn't suggest that.

Two of our earliest draft picks in the last 5 years have been Jayden Pitt and Jessie Simpson what a waste.

Failed to recruit any quality key forwards either through the draft or through trades.

Fail to show any boldness or imagination at the trade table when we should have been offering up the likes of Zac Clarke, Barlow, Mayne, Sylvagni, Suban etc.....

Just a week or two ago Caroline Wilson questioned the recruiting record of Mathew Lloyds brothers and Chris Bond and apologized to Mathew. Mathew said no need to apologize you are entitled to your opinion. Lloydy made no attempt to defend our recruiting because he most likely agrees.

I don't think they place enough stock in local talent from the WAFL. Marcus Adams is a classic example, his growth as a player has been plain to see and right under the noses of our recruiters.

Absolutely spot on about the lack of boldness come trade time, I mean for 2 or 3 years they seemed to think they could hang onto everything and get everything, just didnt want to put up any decent bait at all, complete ineptness, Lyons arrogance is bewildering, if it wasnt for Harvey he wouldnt even have the team he has, he built nothing at Saints either that was all done for him.

Add to that Nat Fyfe. Confirmed he's broken the same leg as he did in last year's finals. I guess we can say welcome Connor Blakely.

So I guess this means the purple peanuts can cancel GF plans.

Agree with Unka.I hate how Clubs put their Short Term needs ahead of Real Player Welfare.

There is NO WAY FYFE should have been sent back out onto the ground in the Preliminary. He clearly wasn't right and sure enough,he ended up worse than he was before.

Now with another bad injury, they HAVE to wrap his year up now, look after him and get him ready for next season. They cannot afford to rush the recovery of their most valuable Assett this time around.

Yup, lok no player should be regarded as more important than another ... BUT, Fyffe is arguabley the best player in the comp, and he re injures the very leg ( and area) he had a break in. With such a valueable commodity, who made that call. Defies any sort of logic

Not sure what you mean there having a crack at the mods, but fair dinkum your excused, cant think of to much more damaging to ones cognitive thought process than being both a perth supporter and a shockers tragic/apologist. At least you dumped perth early I guess, front running is always a good quality.
