why not just change the name of Joondalup Mr Mayor...like anyone would give a toss

This president sold off the club name when he did the deal to get the council to approve and partly fund the redevelopment. The mayor told the club he wanted the first game in the new redeveloped Arena Joondalup to be played by the Joondalup Falcons.

No doubt the president spin doctors in Zempalis, Murray and Comittee will be out telling everyone it is the best thing to do.

No, Paul Murray spoke at the Presidents lunch like he has done many times and the topic was should the team not the club be called the Joondalup Falcons.

How would that work Winger if the team was called Joondalup but the club West Perth? Be a bit odd wouldn't it?

Paul Murray just one member. Can not see Raponi ever giving up the name. The bloke annoys me but at least he remains loyal to his club and his members and beliefs.

I agree but the profit from last year was less than 30k wasn't it? So it will have to be discussed, but I hope the member reject it!
