What amazes me, is people watching the rubbish!
The days of proper football shows and decent television programming are l o n g gone, sad to say. The media nowadays is simply full of too much crap. And 'supposedly' football shows (mentioned above) are simply wastes of space. One has to ask the question of why it's on tv in the first place?

Today Tonight did a great piece leading up to the WP-EP preliminary final. They interviewed Browny and showed highlights of a derby at Leederville that had 24,000 people there. Im sure it was the last round of 1978 and had John Duckworth wrestling with Barry Cable, and Les Fong getting a clip behind the ear and all that. It would have reached a decent audience and maybe things like that helped bring in a few extras to Joondalup on Sunday.

As for that Footyfix show, its not something that is ground breaking. I think the weather will be very good on Sunday and a crowd of maybe 18,000 is possible. Cant go past Subi for a win by about 4 goals. WP will make them earn it. My tips this year have been very average, maybe Im doing the cardies a favour.

Good luck to West Perth in the GF.Really good performance last week in the Preliminary Final..2nd,3rd and last qtrs last week where very good.East peth where in really good form and where favoured to knock WP over.But they left the ground well and truly beaten.
