Great to hear Craig Thomas got Colts coach of the year... Well done Craig our boys certainly didnt underachieve

www.falconsfc.com.au/news/9272/craig-tho...ts-coach-of-the-year

Thomas has now been colts coach at West Perth since 2011 and has done a tremendous job producing and developing talent to go on to play in the AFL or quality league WAFL football.

Cardy I am aware how well your colts' team have performed against Swans this year, could you please explain how their coach could have been made Colts' coach of the year?

No we can't explain Swan 42, if it hits a nerve that he was awarded the CCOTY, ring the people that made the decision, clearly the swans coach should have got it ???

42, I am more interested in your explanation for why you simply can't say "well done to the WP colts coach" on his selection TBH?....

Getting back onto the game, I am concerned about the impact of all this Peel stuff on the crowd at HBF Arena on Sunday. What should be a massive event for the WPFC, hosting a qualifying final has been down graded completely by the lack of quality of the opposition and the expected one sided contest.

I reckon that any of the teams who finished outside the top 5 would be able to put a more competitive team on the park against West Perth than what Peel have put up.

Some West Perth supporters may even not bother given that they may not see much of a contest. As a neutral I would certainly attend the Claremont V East Perth game even if Swans were not playing in the preliminary games at Leederville.

I know the main goal for the Falcons will be to get to the 2nd semi final but it is disappointing that this will not be more of a showcase day for them.

We should be playing Subi this weekend for a spot in the GF, this top 5 chit is a waste of time and should be dropped! another fuc up by the WAFC.

Too true Falcon, I would rather have only a top 4, because if we had that, no one would give a toss what team Peel put out v EP in the first semi on the weekend or cared who out of Cl and SD made 5th spot......both teams TBH would of been out of finals contention a while back if there had of been only a top 4.....all it did was raise the excitement of two traditional WAFL clubs and their fans and cover up the fact that a top 5 was instigated to please Freo & WCE, by keeping their 2nd tier players match fit if they made the AFL finals this year.....which they both did, thus win win for both AFL clubs and more brownie points for the WAFC......Peel to win this weekend by 1 pt too :silly:
