Obviously 6,000 free tickets. Parkings normally at a premium up there, have they made provision for extra parking for a crowd 2 to 3 times bigger than normal?

60,000 WOW :) Yep free FAMILY tickets... I printed one out last year and wasnt accepted as I was on my own... They should advise of that... Dont mind paying at the gate anyway as it goes to the club.

Re parking they use some school oval up the road that takes you the back way out. Usually the option I take anyway as the main entrance road is a joke. No lights.

The School parking is from Memory $5 a entry... and money goes to the school.
Not bad anyway considering CLA charges that for every home game at the showgrounds and on top of that you pay admission... I am pretty sure the $5 at CLA goes to the RAS Society.

Not a problem for me as I get there for the Ressies and plenty of space around. Ressies start early at 1040 I think as they are doing a Naturalism ceremony before the start of the game.

Something else that will need to be considered re parking bays
I believe there are the state cheerleading finals on at the arena at the same time (unsure of the start and the finish)with over 2000 people expected

This is likely to force the parking into premium - and this besides the extra families etc expected to attend for family / international day

West Perth proposed to Channel Seven at the start of the season that we will not have the channel nine logo on the jumper if channel seven televise the game. Channel Seven rejected the proposal.

Max Alexander Ankle Season

:P

Watch out Halligan, he will be joining Max on that list if he is not careful

A Subiaco footballer with ambitions for an AFL career has been fined $2000 after admitting assault charges arising from a brawl with rival West Perth WAFL players outside a nightclub in Leederville.
Matthew Patrick Boland was also granted spent conviction orders, which will mean he does not have to declare a criminal record, when he pleaded guilty to two counts of assault occasioning bodily harm at his first appearance in the Perth Magistrate's Court yesterday.
The court was told that his accused co-offender and Subiaco teammate Kyle John Halligan would plead not guilty to two identical charges arising from the melee, which erupted outside the Hip-E Club about 3.30am on March 29.
Boland punched Falcons player Max Alexander in the face, causing a fracture, and also twice punched former West Coast midfielder Jordan Jones in the face.
Defence lawyer Seamus Rafferty, who represented both men, said Boland accepted his behaviour was wrong and inappropriate in the circumstances.
"He is a person of the utmost character and integrity," Mr Rafferty said.
He told the court that his client had lost a lot of weight and been unable to properly sleep or eat since the incident.

Better call the RSPCA to Joondalup on Sat

There'll be ONE possibly TWO dogs running around the ground ...

Shouldn't be too hard to spot them - Subi jumpers and coming up from behind ....

Police were called by the clubs bar staff. Both West Perth players did not lay any complaints. All was captured on video and it was the police who laid the charges. Mr Halligan or should I say Mr Hooligan pleaded not guilty at first and then changed his mind. I think video evidence may have influenced his decision.

Halligan got 6 weeks after GF stink with the Falcons. Seems he is still bitter and the Garlics have not foregotten. Seems the courts have sorted it now. Look forward to this game Saturday.
