Yep a good article that says it all..
I suspect the Puppet Dawson wouldnt really care and watched TV and ate chocolates while the game was on. Then someone tapped him on the shoulder and said ... Shit Dawes WP are in front.. :(
He is being paid a nice salary far above the WAFL G7 Coaches I suspect and is full time. His staff are all paid for by the Eagles hence there huge turnaround in making a huge profit last year from a few years of losses... They dont have to have a LOT of functions to make money and their players are being paid AFL rates except of course the few diehards who have remained. They would most probably get more as a player anyway as the AFL players dont come into the WAFL salary cap.. so it can be spread a bit more lightly.

What a poor excuse for a club if Club is the correct word to use..
Professional footballers who treat the WAFL with contempt and just go through the motions... Get in front on the scoreboard and then just take the foot off the pedal... Nah Dont WANT to get an injury as a AFL game is just around the corner with the HUGE injury list at the Eagles..

Fark the Alignment and Fark EP Ferals ... it made the victory Oh so sweet. Especially considering our comeback when all was lost.

Bill summed it up when he jokingly said to the players after the game he would appreciate it if they wouldnt leave it until the death knock before winning the games e.g SD EP
Should of done it v Subi as well as only 7 points down with 7 minutes to go.. Oh well next time.

Went to the EF V PERTH Game and thought I had wasted my time with EF getting out of the blocks so fast with a 7 goal lead at qtr time :(
But full credit to the Perth Coach he said the right things and I think really made his guys feel small and pathetic.. He told them EF are not that good and the Perth players should be be doing better against the old guys especially Young etc..
Shit I thought I was going to see a WP turnaround with Perth being a couple of goals down at 3 qtr time.. :) They could of won the game if a bit of fortune went there way as they were inside 50 in the second half of the last qtr but just couldnt put the points on the board.. I feel it had of come down to a 6 point game Perth would of won...

Now my opinion is EF are not that good and the game was pretty scrappy and a lot of mistakes made.. Sure Malaxos will work on that... Dont know if EF Ran on expecting to win and at the end of the first qtr thought it was in the bag... Suspect that is the mind set of the EF players.
Malaxos will certainly make sure that doesnt happen next week if they hit the lead and it will be in the players minds... WPFC fast finishing Last QTR in SD EP games certainly will an I even think we will have a psychological advantage because that will be in the back of their minds.

My biggest worry is the way we are playing games... We seem to play one qtr at our full potential and the other three are dismal

If WP played 4 qtrs of footy NO ONE in the league would touch us or even come near us.. Incredible Squad and they have shown they have the goods.
Is there something wrong with their attention span? Is the coach coming with the right Match plan?
They are playing as a team from what I have seen in the 4 Qtrs and not as indivuals so not a problem there.

If we play for 4 quarters or even 3 we will have no problems with EF this week even though EF have a good record at Joondalup.

After that back to EP .... Now that could be interesting at our Traditional Home
and our sacred ground but after Eagles beating Port I cant see WC Coach making many changes unless injuries come up... I think Hutchy will go into the Eagles as he is a quality player so that will be a bonus in the next game
But digressing more on that later after the state game.

I would like to thank the EF Shark Pit guys for their hospitality on Sunday.
Great atmosphere and it turned out to be a good game
I stayed for the Colts game after the League and that was a RIPPER as well.. Great footy and the teams were tied for most of the game.. The skills at WAFL Colts level is incredible.. The AFL morons would be so happy to have such a GREAT BREEDING GROUND...

Some words from Rassa last week.. Re Players and their supporters at the WPFC.
Words to take to heart.. and I am sure we appreciate Rassa and the team DOING IT for the club and their supporters. Loyalty is a TWO WAY street and I am convinced and have no doubt the supporters and the WPFC at all levels make our club so passionate :)

Well said Rassa

ONE of the many privileges we have as players of the West Perth Football Club is the ability to represent our supporters in one of our state's greatest rivalries.

We’ve had some great battles with East Perth in the short time I’ve been playing for the club, and it takes no more than a passing word with one of our passionate members to see how much it means to them.

Every West Perth fan remembers their first derby, the one we just got over the line, or one of the grand finals we’ve played. Most of these memories are likely from before our young team were born (maybe not Gaudy or Keuns), but I have no doubt that everyone understands the significance of these unique games.

Bill talks of about the WP V EP Game... Good feedback from our Coach and the Club that proves THEY COMMUNICATE and have respect for the Supporters of the Club.. WPFC is second to none in the area and we are envied by supporters from other clubs for WPFC's ability to respect their supporters and make us feel and be part of the club.

Cardy, your nearly five pages of facts, figures and pictures are magnificent if you are a West Perth supporter, but the fact that is most relevant to East Perth supporters is :

Total Games Played - 334. East Perth 166 wins. West Perth 162 wins. Draws 6.

Thats a huge Stat... Dont know how I missed it! :)

I like a few others like the 100 point win and the one where we kept EP scoreless for a Full game... We defeated a EP side in a GF that consisted of mainly Eagles. Just to mention a couple..
But lets no worry about them as thats all history and the last game and the next game are what count.

But how can we forget this game.. One of the highlights
