Another thing I noticed while SD dominated the centre clearances for most of the game early later in the 4th qtr Chris Keunen dominated in the ruck. HO from him for the game was 49 being our lone ruckman again.. In doing this he allowed our mid field to dominate and allowed us to move the ball forward fast. The 2 SD ruckmen had 15 HO apiece.

This is obvious with the amount of goals we kicked in a short period compared to the rest of the game.. Chris was involved in a lot of ground play as well and in my Book is a Unsung hero in the win.

Chookies 7 Marks and 3 goals certainly help the cause along with Rohan Kerr playing a blinder. I was impressed with Rassa even though his Disposals dont reflect it he was everywhere along with the usual culprits.
Johnno impressed me in the first qtr and was on fire. Maintained a good presence and handy 3 goals. Nelly was brilliant as usual and he was never far from the action. Watched him closely as we have a few who claim his possession rate is because he is a seagull... Far from it. He was in and under many times and I have never seen a guy who can handball to a team mate as quick in one motion.

Having said that no problems with the rest of the guys and a great Team effort.
I agree with Winger that Striker didnt seem himself and seem sluggish at times. 18 Possession though and he rarely misses his target when kicking.
Maybe they have him training to hard at the Fire Brigade up and down those towers is hard work LOL. Then again he could of been doing a Taggers roll or been tagged? Not sure who he was on.

I suggest Bill had taggers on Riggio and Geappen but not sure. Think Guady was on Geappen?

Anyway that is 4 points we can put in the bank.

i reckon you blokes might be in for a bit of a surprise this week cardy. the Tiges have so far gone down swinging to East Freo and Perth and were only beaten due to one qtr by FART who kicked something like 6 goals from memory...other than that Claremont were very competitive....also Seaby had 17 touches and 40 odd hit outs in the two's so must be up for a recall. should be an interesting game.

BC, It pains me to say it but we have been nearing on ordinary to date. It will not surprise me in the least if we get beaten by CL, its the way we seem to role since GF day in 2013. In saying that, I have seen on many occasions when a side has a rousing come back win it gives them the belief of winning from any position, I hope this is our kick start !

Dont worry BC fully aware of that. Claremont/showgrounds is not a happy hunting ground for WP... Will be a home game for CLA and as you say Seabs should be back in the league this week. That will keep Chris Keunen honest. :)

Cla has to break the drought somewhere... We got a get out of jail card in the SD game in an incredible/unbelievable turnabout.

Then the week after we have EP Feral Eagles at Joondalup... Big fortnight. And the WAFL stuffed up the fixtures again with us playing EP Ferals Eagles again a fortnight later.. :(

Chookas two goals around the 30 min mark including the winning goal will be remembered. This bloke has talent, I only wish he was more consistent.

Gee it would of been nice to talk about the games instead of My Kitchen Rules :(

Plan ahead...
I go to the ressies and have a BIG breakfast before I head off.
If going to Joondalup hit the shopping centre and get a fast food from there if your just comming to the League... Their all there.

Water take a bottle and fill it up from the taps in the toilet if you want ... yep it is drinkable water.

I did see the queques at Joondalup as I did in a couple of the big games and it is a joke.
All they would have to do is put a caravan food supplier over the other side or on the other side of the GRANDSTAND to take up the slack. Even Chicken treat most probably does Outside catering as I have seen and they would be happy to be there even with events West hitting them with 10% off the profit. Thats what the Coffee guy etc do.

Or as I saw with a lot others they took their food in...

Fark pretty simple really.. As I said earlier ... and others said .. Plan ahead
You are there for the Footy not a Food Fest.

I eat lunch before I go and dinner when I get back but I like a nice cold beer or two while I watch the footy. Are you suggesting I smuggle my own beer in past the security guards next time?
