Yes I do sympathize Jack. Myself attended many outdoor venues from the footy to concerts. The prices charged for food and drink simply leaves one feeling cold and puts a dampener on everything. All said and done, a lot of it's only junk type food too. And I think quite rightly, questions need answering.

At Piles Park today I got charged $4.00 for a bottle of water. They cost 33 cents a bottle at Coles - nice mark up Sowfs. Yes, I should BYO next time but I'm not the drink/back pack carrying type. It's the price I pay for being slack I guess.

Slack is the key word Shark TRAGIC..
Gee it would of been nice to talk about the games instead of My Kitchen Rules :(

Plan ahead...
I go to the ressies and have a BIG breakfast before I head off.
If going to Joondalup hit the shopping centre and get a fast food from there if your just comming to the League... Their all there.

Water take a bottle and fill it up from the taps in the toilet if you want ... yep it is drinkable water.

I did see the queques at Joondalup as I did in a couple of the big games and it is a joke.
All they would have to do is put a caravan food supplier over the other side or on the other side of the GRANDSTAND to take up the slack. Even Chicken treat most probably does Outside catering as I have seen and they would be happy to be there even with events West hitting them with 10% off the profit. Thats what the Coffee guy etc do.

Or as I saw with a lot others they took their food in...

Fark pretty simple really.. As I said earlier ... and others said .. Plan ahead
You are there for the Footy not a Food Fest.

Events West have contracted new caterers. I complained about the prices and the range of drinks available. They have improved the range of drinks and you can get free water upstairs. They have taken the barrier away at the bar so its a free for all rather than first come first serve. Four stubbies cost me $28.00 even with the so called members discount.

Great game in the last ten minutes...

Atrocious skills on both sides throughout... bloody hell, how many out on the fulls

Why the hell do we keep kicking to f....g contests when players are free

Black ducks run off their paddlers ... sadly (not that I am comparing us to Sydney 'at all'.. ..but) you never slow up or take your foot off the peddle until the siren blows

Chook will sleep soundly tonight :)

Our backline in serious need of a Band-Aid

Lourey had a black cloud day

But all in all .... WE WON and for those that left early - sucks to be you

Let's not forget about the incompetence of the WAFC. Once again they ran out of footy budgets yesterday. If the WAFC are going ot charge $15.00 which includes a budget then they are REQUIRED to ensure that there are sufficient budgets available. If they don't have the competency to do that then they NEED to reduce the price of entrance by the cost of the budget and allow people to purchase a budget if they want one.

Perhaps one of G Walton's highly paid new recruits can address this as a matter of some urgency.

I listened to this game (most of it) on ABC radio yesterday. My wife & I went out for dinner at a local pub & listened up to parking the car & walking into the pub when I turned off the broadcast on the phone. At that stage the game was over according to the callers. When we settled at a table with a drink I tuned in again to get an update.Tuned back in right at the moment the Swannies scored a goal & stretch their lead to 26 points with only minutes remaining. I turned off the broadcast & stated West were gone. Couldn't believe when we got home & checked the results to find West Perth had won!! Unbelievable. This was an important game for both teams. Well done West on a great come from behind win....back luck Swannies. Just shows in todays game if a team slighty takes their foot off the pedal & the other gets a sniff...you are never out of a match!!!

Interview with Percy Johnson on 91.3 this morning. Percy always brings up so good comments

I tend to agree with Percy .. SD ran out of legs.. and took the foot off as well.
