The WP v SD Anzac game is one of the highlights of the year. Always a good game between 2 great WAFL clubs in the Spirit of Anzac. Gamesmanship,comradeship and backing up your mates.
Passionate supporters on both sides who support their teams 110%.
A couple of clips from round 15 30 June 2012 bring back memories. I grabbed these on Shane Nelson whos father had recently passed away. Still playing well and a asset to the team and club..

Thought this was a great pic. Great to see Sala, Slick, Burner and Branchy still enjoying the game at the Wanneroo Amateur Football Club...See them at the WP games occasionly and nice to talk to them as all legends of the WPFC.

Our pressure all day was outstanding but something happened at the 15 minute mark and we let your boys just waltz in time after time. Well done to your boys on a great win.
I was however disgusted at both the West Perth peanut supporters feeding it to us there with our kids on the way out and the Swans peanut supporters booing the West Perth players as they came up the race. I was also disgusted at the blatant gouging of supporters pockets at the bar. $8 for a can of beer in a plastic cup??

Does anyone know an attendance. The weather certainly could not have been better. Given only two games today, the crowd numbers should have been right up there for both matches.

According to the West online, approx 4000 at the Derby and 3340 at HBF Arena which is pretty reasonable I would have thought. Could have been a few more I suppose

I almost didn't attend because of the joke prices for food and drink. This will certainly be the case next time. How can they seriously justify charging an extra $3/beer than at Basso and $4 for a pack of Smiths chips for the young fella, not to mention running out of food like burgers pretty much before the game even started.

Pretty simple answer Jack.. Bring your own food! Everybody knows Venue West puts the prices up..
