LB do you suggest that currently "East Perth's" development programme and opportunities to play league footy is better than Swans' development progamme and opportunities to play league footy?

I won't play it up just to stir, but he is devastated about how the club he used to love treated him. Management of the club to blame etc etc. A real Bert and Ernie show.

For me Swans programme is the model for any club that has not got access to a silver spoon area, a higher than average income coastal income band (none of which are criticisms of the swans zone). It focuses on the boys available and gives them every chnace to play, learn and develop as boys into young men.

Are you for real LB. So Kepler is pissed off about how WP treated him.
Didn't happen to mention that he signed a 2 year contract with WP and then signed one with Claremont.
The trouble with a lot of players that come out of the AFL is that they want to be hand feed.
They get into the real world and they cant't handle it.
He was in the system since 2004. In that time he should have been able to set himself up for life after footy (just like Beau Waters did) but unfortunately players don't.
They expect clubs to get them jobs. Clubs might promise that but sometimes it doesn't work out.
Just the way of the world, sometimes you have to help yourself.

Not pissed off gutted was the term he used. Some players do expect the gravy train to roll on but the WAFL is a part time job. I think clubs should not make promises to players that are not realistic which I know WP are notorious for.

At the end of the day he was promised a job and a good person and a good club honour their promises. Don't see how it can be this blokes fault if the club has failed to hold up their end of the bargain.
He should of developed skill while in the afl but he didn't, not much can be done about that now apart from get experience and skills and sign with a club that fulfills their promises.
