An interesting game ahead,,,,,,
  1. No Kuenen with bad eye, our Newbie tap artist to be tested again ...
  2. Centre breaks tested without Guady out with a bleeding cork
  3. Opposition with three tall rucks one x AFL & X falcon
  4. Once again the possibility of a tall forward line to defend against
  5. A ground we haven't won at since post WW1 pre WW2
  6. We need to win so that our win loss ratio allows us a chance at the finals this year.
hmmmmmmmmmm with all this against us !!
    We should WIN!!
We usually do when its backs against the wall......

As you say Growler we are starting to hit our annual injury stage.
You forgot Razor as well.. Should be back for EF game as will a couple of others.
This game worries me big time in both the Ressies and League.. Both vital games. Not the end of season as a long way to go and would be handy to get the wins. If EF lose to Peel and we win this we will go into 4 again I think. There will be a lot of shuffling in the 3/4 spot over the next 8 games

Colts are having a good game all the best to them

Q3 - 24:32 Q1 Q2 Q3 Q4 TOTAL
Claremont 2.2 3.5 7.7 49
West Perth 3.3 4.4 6.6 42

A Win is a Win is a Win

Not a pretty game by any standard and we almost snatched defeat from the jaws of victory....
We still have so many issues delivering to our forward line ... don't understand why the height to so many kicks in contest?
Great Ruck work for the new apprentice and defence kept most of the hounds at bay until the beginning of the final quarter

but as I said - a win is a win

Lastly on the Showground as a field of paly - a joke!! sorry but its a mess and I hope a player doesnt hurt himself playing on it. But I enjoyed my day
Well Done WP

Yeah I saw the first game there in late April and there was a big sand patch running down the middle of the ground. Massive ACL risk I thought. Thats why I was amazed that Freo allowed Morabito to play that day. Luckily he got through it. Sounds like it hasn't improved.

Good comment Growler.. Now you know why I dont spend time on Previews.. But such is life and we do love our club.

Agree Seva is outstanding and almost got my 3 votes today. Quiet unassuming guy and he just plays his game.. Great asset to the Club.. No 6 has be out greatest asset The things he does are magic.

Been out tonight but mate our Ressies under Paul Sanzone are on fire.. Their tackling is incredible.. We have a bit of depth.. Honestly today I enjoyed their win and endeavour a bit more than I did the League game.. It didnt inspire me but 4 points is 4 points

I'm not 100% sure about this Swandog but I think its only the Colts in Broome and the league and reserves are at the Show Grounds.

hahahaha
Obviously the guys enjoy a chat no matter the lounge room their standing in ...

Its nice that Seva stood up to the challenge of much greater experiance today and I wonder if thats going to revive the reciognition deserve. It would be nice to see him partner with Chris? maybe yes maybe no - BILL??
I agree the reserves are certainly turning it on and I would suggest there may be a couple of leaugue players that should be very wary of their current holding of their spots/positions.
With the skills being as diar as they are with a few, I would personally lift a few of the reserves players to the highr level and let the ones that maybe feel they are comfortable in the leaugue get a little shake up.
Talking to them, berating them and focussed training on the skill errors isnt doing it so maybe the preverbial KICK in the pants is needed.

I still find some of the player placements yesterday a little mysifying - but I guess I need to bow to the Coaches game plan.
But as an example - my favourite young player 'Manning' is not really a Full forward and pitting him with a Full back several centremetres higher seemed a little tasking. Hes a brilliant 'pressure forward' who does everything to assist his team mates and they often snatch the goal glory, but thats his lot and hes the best at it.... as I said ??????????????? hahahahaha and the only person who thought his snap at goal yesterday wasnt a goal was the umpire  Buggas are blind and still need Spec Savers coupons
