Embers always puts in a good effort and good down and under player but as I said above who do you take out of the league.. Got a couple of ressies up there now playing ok
Embers is always up there with possession rates as well but so do
Lynchy,Rhodes,Antonio, Johnno, McNamara and a couple of others. Coaches call really mate.. Me would like to see Lynchy get a call up as he always puts in a second effort and consistantly plays a good game.
Great to see we have such depth. Unfortunately when Gaudy and Razor come back a couple will be comming down rather than any going up.

Frank any suggestions on who should be brought down? Big call and I for one would rather stick with what we have than experiment to much at this stage.

Understand Cardy, but i think as they are changing the reserves everyweek he could be given a game. All said and done we are struggling to win games and sitting out side the four. Realize that our mid field is strong but it wouldnt hurt to see how he would go in the league.

I guess my thoughts are revolving around the fact that messages just aren't getting through or is it that the skills are just very average.

I shouldn't sound like a dooms-day-bringer, as their is still very much to like in patches...

But _ Each week I see poor decision making from the players and each week I don't see errors being learned from and the same false entry's being made to the forward fifty, long bombs being kicked , over use of the handball & choices made to kick to contests instead of the open man ... and I CONTINUALLY ASK WHY?

We are our worst enemy - not the opposition, and somehow by some means the players need to take ownership of that and change their own actions...

What i see from WP is a young group coming to terms with being hunted. A win after hard fought derby was a good result. I see a bright future for the Falcons, Claremont and Swans based on age,culture,leadership n coaching. Will be at EF game this week to have a better look at some of the Shark kids

Good to see Our reserves guys who were reported got the Reps etc and will be available this week.

A certain red headed umpire seemed to have tunnel vision at game v CLA and saw a lot of WP guys infringing yet minutes later missed obvious infringements on WP players but having said that it is something we have to live with and a good team will always beat bad umpiring..

Agree with a couple of your points Growler..
Our possession rate is incredible and if you look at the Stats we usually have more than the opposition.. Now where lays the problem?

We cant hit targets.. How many turnovers do you see. This is making it easy for the opposition. Ok in a pressure games such as the EP game opposition pressure has a lot to do with it.. WP players are kicking to a contest instead of loose players and you see it all the time.. One of my pet hates is players are not backing up and you see 1 WPFC player competing against 2 opposition AND NO ONE RUNS IN TO SUPPORT THAT PLAYER until it is to late..

Goals and forward line - Now wind no rain against CLA and yet our misses were incredible.. Ok some forced but we missed a few we should of got..
Our back line is brilliant lead by Striker Gee would love to see him up forward but he is doing a brilliant job down back and provides attack from the back line.

Now we are missing a big tall with say the exception of Marcus Adams who is going well. Slick takes great marks and does ok in general play (thank god he came back this year or we would of been in BIG trouble).. Crispy is a jet and does a lot of work..

Sure our coaching team are working hard and IMO doing a good job. Good to see Bill give our guys a Hard time at the break last week even though we were in front. Re handballs (65) compared to tackles etc
Gotta be Proactive rather than Reactive as he says..

Looking forward to this weeks game as it is critical in that we will be 2 games out of the four if we lose It will be bit of a struggle if we lose as the other sides in the four (4th spot) would have to lose at least 2 games where we win 2 and looking at the teams in the Four cant see that happening..

tx for the media info Cardy. Agree its going to be an interesting and important game. As Malaxos said its a 8 point game. If we lose that puts us 2 games out of the 4. Hard to make up.
