Thanks for your input Growler.
Now lets look at the OUTS LIST from last week. From what I saw we didnt have any major injuries yesterday?
SIDELINED PLAYER LIST UPDATE
AS AT FRIDAY 6 JUNE 2014
PLAYER INJURY EXPECTED RETURN DATE
DAN ACRES KNEE INDEFINITE
MAX ALEXANDER SUSPENSION 1 WEEK
RAY BARTHOLOMEW CHEEK / EYE FRACTURE 1 WEEK
JAMES BATTERHAM KNEE 5 WEEKS
MARTIN GERAGHTY HERNIA 2 WEEKS
MATT GUADAGNIN CORK 1 WEEK
CHRIS KEUNEN EYE 1 WEEK
SHAYNE ZANETTI BACK 3 WEEKS
And we have Krakour out but he doesnt appear on this list? They talk of a knee problem?
We already have a couple of guys who due to our injuries who have come up from the Ressies to replace the above especially Chris, Razor and Gaudy. It is great to see we have some depth which is good and We will still have players who can come up. Not like SD who have a major problem that was shown yesterday in their
reserves game
SD...............SUBIACO
2.2 Q4 23.18
(14) Total (156)
I suggest SD have come back to the field and a lot of the hype shown by commentators is incorrect in saying they are the best team around after their defeat by SUBI who strangely were beaten by CLA a week before..
I have changed my opinion on the top 2 being set in concrete and see the 2nd thru 4th spots being open for grabs with so many games left. Anyway I am digressing back to WPFC
We have a couple of ressies being Thrum and Shannon (flash) who are both playing well and at League level. Manzone and Meadows are also in the elevated players and of course you can throw in Seva Martin who is in for Keunen and will be there until after Foxtel Cup.. Chris could be back for Foxtel he told me yesterday but doesnt want to risk the eye that could turn into a season defining injury if the retina rips away.. So softly softly there.
Now as for the other league players. Who would you drop considering we have a few dropped already due to injury. I was a bit unsure of Teddys performances but he has got a second breath (as players do) and is looking the goods at the moment.
Lets have a look at yesterdays Stats.. Not to be taken to seriously as I heard Bill when getting up our guys say in the QTR there were 65 Handballs compared to 4 tackles

He stated we were overdoing the handballs.. Hey good for stats but how ineffective were those stats? It comes back to the old story. Dont take stats to seriously and I am a great believer that the 1 percenters which turn into 100 percenters are more effective most of the time.
Two questions here are WHO WOULD YOU DROP?? IMO no one because we have a bunch of Ressies players getting a run anyway and unfortunately the BIG decisions are when the injured group of at least 3 Gaudy,Razor and Keunen come back 3 will have to go down. Krakouer is an unknown.. He would have to come back into Reserves if he comes back at all?
A lot of food for thought. But I cant see a problem at the moment with our depth.
I cannot see anyone comming up from Ressies and that is unfortunate but IT IS A GOOD WAY TO BE. For the club.
Havent looked at the ressies stats yet and will give my opinion before I do as it can influence your thoughts..
My best for Reserves were Branchy (The guy is a legend and sets a great example to the side) ,54 Dean Munns who decided to come into the game in the second half and impressed. He was cleaned up big time late in the last and didnt come back on. He is showing that he WILL be a player of the future.. Pretty sure it was his Debut at this level as well comming up from Colts..
Others who impressed me were James Embley,Mitch Van Berlo who was incredible in defence and his marking skills stopped a few moves forward by CLA. Ben McNamara worked hard throughout the game. Braydon Antonio had some good input
Lynchy had his usual solid game. Must make a mention of Millsy who didnt give away a 50 (Sorry mate) but one of the best I have seen him play and always busts his guts for the side.
I heard Paul Sanzone say Timothy Sutherland got 42 Hit Outs so he certainly stood up when it counted and Well done to him. The sad news is Mitch Andrews (CLA) took very little time in the game and appears his Hammy gave up again when he had just come back from injury. Saw him chatting and shaking hands with all the WP guys.
Tamati Young (our Kiwi import) is improving with every game. Got a little way to go but I saw him do some good things yesterday and hope he sticks with it and enjoys the game with a great bunch of team mates and I am sure Paul will point him in the right direction and help him become a big part of the club and the team.
Sorry if I left a couple out of my comments because BECAUSE AS A TEAM THE RESSIES ARE ONE. The tackling is ferocious by all players and the opposition never get a chance to play their game. I actually told them they were a PACK OF BULLIES

Who wouldnt let the opposition have a kick. The whole team deserve a pat on the back as does the coaches for getting them to this point.
Now dont let me down next week v EF guys but if you do I am sure it wont be easy for EF and you will make them WORK hard for a win as you will be doing likewise.
4 Qtrs of solid footy and no one will touch us. Looking forward to it and would suggest a Few of our supporters get their for the game as it will be a EYE opener.
