According to The West just now Cody will honour his contract. I’ve got to be honest I’ve got mixed emotions about it. I mean you have to question his commitment and where do his loyalties really lie? Only a few know the real reason for wanting to switch clubs but I’m not buying the half back flank BS. I’d feel a lot better about it if he puts it behind him and extends his current contract. Well have a new coach in 2021 so that might just sway him.

I think just about everyone and I did say just about everyone knew this was going to occur - it's not rocket science after all
Here's to hoping Perth can keep him at home & playing good footy

DD, we become hippocritical if we don’t welcome him back. We said all along this stoush went on that he was a required player.
We would look a bit silly if we don’t. Nothing has changed.

Look at the Kelly situation with Geelong and WC, he and they tried everything to get him to WC last year but failed, he then was welcomed back to the Cattery and was one of their best, so lets hope for Legget and Perth you have a similar outcome, coz he's gorn at the end of this season.

Yeah blow it out your backside mate. No similarity at all. Tim Kelly wanted to move from freezing Geebung to comeback to family on the other side of the country.

Totally no comparison SS. The AFL has a trade process to allow clubs to deal with players wanting to move to another club for whatever reasons.
The WAFL does not have that process so it relies on straight out negotiation and, if that fails, arbitration, something the AFL does not have as far as I know.
This week we have seen that process at work as it was designed.
Many may not like it but until there is a different process in place we have to accept it.

I reckon Cody will love being team mates with Masto. Ouch!!! That will rub some salt into the wounds of those EF knobs. Can’t wait for the Cody and Masto show out on the park.

Smokey where have you read a straight swap has been done done for Jayden Quill and Blair Smith, who I’ve never heard of by the way? Looking forward to seeing Jayden play his best footy at Mineral Resources Park. Welcome aboard Jayden.

You have snared a promising young player from Perth, Bailey Smith, in a straight swap for Jayden Quill. Win, Win all around. Like for like. That is how it should be.
Good luck to both those young fellows.

Ask your bro.
