Entire forward line had 10 marks between them.

Agree STT. Garstone and Dennis dropped simple marks today. Not good enough. Hardly sighted Cary.
Mickey Magic is all we got. One of his goals was unbelievable. But even he could be doing more.
Trouble is, who else have we got? Perhaps time to give Johnson and Scotney a try.
This is a problem that sooner or later is going to bite us on the proverbial.

Johnson and Scotney were both quiet in the the Reserves.
Payne was really solid with 37 possessions,

He has to be a strong chance for a League game very soon.

Not sure who said it, but unless we get a functioning forward line we’re not genuine potential finals team. You need guys taking marks. Imposing themselves on a forward line. There’s the Richmond model, manic forward pressure with 1 tall target, or the traditional model that WCE employ, 2 targets with crumbers. I’m not sure where Earl sits. He’d know better than me. But with the players we’ve got it seems like we err toward the Richmond model. But we haven’t got the best or if Sam. Do you back him in? Or do we try Johnson? I think Bennell, Ninja, Cary, Rogers can play roles in our forward line. There’s also guys from midfield who can rest thru there and be dangerous. But we just don’t have a pivot down there. And that will be our downfall if we can’t find a way to produce one. Don’t worry about Subi. It will cost us against WP in the next game. We can’t always rely on the backs playing out of their skins. It’s a challenge for Earl. But there’s be few who know forward Craft better than him

Yep I agree, maybe go to Wesley/Curtain and chat to Ben Saunders.

The other issue for me is if Eyres goes down, the ressies like the league team appear to have only one ruckman.
Becomes a huge issue if he gets injured.

PD interesting that you talk about the D's manic pressure, that is what almost undid Subi yesterday when Swans employed that tactic, we looked ordinary when the space is closed down and we were continually forced wide. Subi's fittness was the key in the end so if your fitter than Swans then when we meet it should be a ripper game. Not sure we will be undefeated by then as we have some tough games against Souths, Peel and Cl coming up.
