Great to see Sinclair named.
I am also happy to see no change by the Demons to bring in a tagger, I don’t think the plan works generally. Keep attacking.

If Sinclair is fit to play surely he has to be in the state squad?

I am surprised that he may be fit to play especially as Zac Hill is also listed.
There had been rumours that he may have had a broken collarbone.
Hopefully he gets up for the game.
I agree DD. If he plays and comes through ok he should be added to the State squad. I actually hope that he doesn't. Selfish, I know. He deserves the honour but we can't afford the risk of him getting hurt in a game that there are not four points up for grabs.

The cash keeps rolling in STT. Good things happening on and off the field.
We need to keep the momentum going.

We came from 6 goals down against the Eagles to almost win it. Surrendered meekly? Bit harsh Ark. Remember the Eagles had Subi all but beaten the week before, I don’t think they are as bad as you think.

Claremont will provide stiff opposition this week. No doubt about that. One or two of their guys will be trying to catch the eye of AFL recruiters, too. For us the game hinges around our ability to score. I think the midfield and defence are traveling well. However, our forwards haven’t done enough. We will need to see improvement if we’re to win this one. That means, if they line up as named, Garstone and Langdon have to present and, at least, bring the ball down to our advantage. This is our weak spot no doubt. We’ve had good support from midfield with goals and Bennell, Rogers, and Ninja have been good. But they should’ve the icing on the cake. I reckon there’s no two more important players for us on Saturday than Garstone and Langdon. They need good delivery and good ground support.
Apart from that, we’ll see whether the boys have got ahead of themselves. Dig in for the fight and I’ll reckon we’ll be alright.

I watched the replay of the EP game and I agree with the commentators that Bennell needs to lead more. He tends to call for a long ball too often and wants to take screamers. He is capable of doing so, but it is a low percentage option. Obviously there are times when there is no choice but to go long, but I agree with PD that is where Garstone should be the main target, with Ninja crumbing.

I too watched the Anzac replay and while we got the chocs, there were patches where EP exploited the occasional lack of concentration. the commentators made reference to this and said the midfield of EP were on top for most of the game - I didn't see it that way, but what does concern me is that teams like Cl and S will see this and know how to put P to the sword during these times.
I almost felt as though at times P (against EP) were a bit 'cocky' and knew that they could beat them and because each teams record this season P may not have played to their full potential.
More commitment and endeavor for ALL of the game. Boy if they play the whole game at the highest intensity and continue to score from every inside 50 the season will really take off.
Play Claremont and get the points and do it well then confidence will come and Subiaco will be the next big challenge .
Go Dees.

Couldn't have put it better PD and TN. Tall forwards need to run their guts out, 2 and 3 leads and 6 goals between them. That leaves ninja and bozo and magic and midfield to get us to 100 points.
