I kept checking the scores all day living far away from Perth these days. Those who saw the game was there a bit of wind one way as the scores indicated that. We need consistency now to make finals and then apply as much pressure then. Question Trevor Williams must be a plus at the breaks with the boys he controls with his zone area? Have Claremont been pushed more this year than today? Like to know the thoughts of some out there.

No it wasn't farcical it was fkn stupid on Bateman's part. Yeah the free in the first place was harsh but a club leader shouldn't gift goals to the opposition through pure bloody petulance. He was ordinary today Chance. Sketcher was another who had an ordinary one. Bushy played well but couldn't pick up the tempo of the game at times and I though Risol was just outstanding again. Would normally agree Dazzler, but when decision is so ridiculously wrong, player is on ground engaged in tackle and has no idea what umpires decision was, I am prepared to cut him some slack when he gets up and doesn't deliver ball to Claremont player. Why would you when you have just been rolled over line in tackle?

Totally agree on Bevan, fantastic effort. Busher I thought was good and willingness to work hard outstanding. All positive for him once he adjusts to tempo.

There was a whisper at halftime that Chance was racially vilified in that incident, hence the ball was thrown at the Claremont player which in turn caused the first 50m penalty, then a second 50m penalty for complaining.
When he came to the bench Chance was really pumped.

Didn't see the 100 meter penalty but if what is said is true then it is excusable. Do like how pumped and interested Chance gets. May get off both reports. Lets hopes so.

No discernable breeze advantaging either end yesterday. We tended to kick our goals in periods when we got on top in the middle in both the second and fourth quarters hence most our goals were scored at the railway end.

There is absolutely no doubt Trevor Williams is having a big impact at Lathlain. You only need to go to training to see the professionalism he has brought to the place.

1900 at the game yesterday. 1500 of them would have been Perth supporters. Walking through the Claremont members is like being in a living museum. More fossils than the Rift Valley.

I thought a move should have been made of getting Jacobs off Richardson,i would have given Sketcher or Hodge a go on him.I know he only ended up with 4 but it could have easily been 7.Jacobs "ball watches" too much and easily loses his opponent.

Why does the opposition when kicking from a behind kicked by us get it out with ease but when we kick in we make hard work of it?Our Zone needs to be done a bit better than what it is.

Reckon another tall key forward and tallish defender wouldnt go astray.

Umpiring some of the worst i have seen for a long while,i also reckon the goal umps made 2 blues.
