Hugely proud of D's today - out gunned early, fought back, Kane out early and three others on one leg, low rotations due to injuries, boys hung in and nearly snatched it.

Lot of players down on form and disappointing, Bateman, Reimers, Sully.

Hodge, Ali, Stack, Meatballs best for me.

Open myself up to a bagging from Swannies supporters, but umpires worst I have seen in a long time. Went both ways, but how Bateman being tackled and bustled across the boundary can be construed as deliberate on his behalf is beyond me. Resultant hundred metre and goal farcical.

No it wasn't farcical it was fkn stupid on Bateman's part. Yeah the free in the first place was harsh but a club leader shouldn't gift goals to the opposition through pure bloody petulance. He was ordinary today Chance. Sketcher was another who had an ordinary one. Bushy played well but couldn't pick up the tempo of the game at times and I though Risol was just outstanding again. As was Moody.

Loved Bevo's effort to soldier on on one leg.

Very exciting and gripping game. Players looked gutted coming off.

Only saw the 2nd half which I was spewing about.

Makes the Subiaco game a must. Will it be?

Great to hear about the Ressies win.

A win in the League today would have seen us go to the top of the Rodriguez Shield.

Better than our last game against them to be sure.
Victorians still laugh at West Aussies because of the way we bailed out the vfl and then allowed it to be called it the AFL!

Come on. A bit of credit to the side for a gutsy effort. Almost pulled it off in last quarter despite 4 players on one leg.
Bevo could not run but bravely kicked 2 goals in final quarter.
No excuses. we lost, but we found out something today. The players are the real deal and are playing with confidence in each other.
Sure they made some silly mistakes but so did Claremont. That was how the game was played, full of pressure from both sides.
Top marks to Jared Risol. Our best player on the day IMO and maybe even BOG.
We now know where we are at but still much more work to be done. But the confidence is rising and there will be a few surprises for any teams who do not show us some respect.

Hahaha, love it ! Well done to the Dees on almost snatching that game. At the end of the day, you wanted to walk away from that game knowing you could mix it with the best and although you lost, it is clear to me that the final four beckons if you can maintain it !

Agree the endeavour and skills are there to go all the way - Injuries aside Perth are a power this year.. Fark dont look forward to meeting them in 3 weeks time after our LONG break (eg state game and bye).
Will be a great game to watch I am sure...

Still a long way to go Leedy but the signs are there. The Demons came off the ground hurting but still held their heads high.

Yep, the Perth players should hold their heads high too. They were slow to get out of the blocks but fought back and almost came out with a win. Both teams having the same number of scoring shots at goal. Claremont having 22 more kicks in the match and Perth having just over 20 less disposals for the afternoon. The club obviously have a belief in themselves. Which puts them in good stead for the remainder of the season.
