This club has failed for far too long as a result of the lack of discipline and a poor player culture.

This year it has been made clear what is expected of all players and those who did not like the team rules have chosen to move on.

We will never ever again be successful onfield unless and until all the players, without exception, adopt without question the expected levels of discipline both on and off the field.

Yes, there can be times when a player will have work or family issues which may interfere with training or rehab commitments. Surely there can be no problem so long as the player advises the club and is given the OK. That is player management.

But being absent from or late for a team commitment without an acceptable excuse is unacceptable and players should be prepared to "cop it sweet" and not "spit the dummy" as we have seen so often.

IMO it matters not who the player is. If it is a Ross Young who offends he cops the penalty for his indiscretion just as any other player should.

DD, your suggestion that any disciplinary offence by a player is the fault of the coach is ludicrous. All players know what the team rules are and if they want to be selfish instead of being a team player then they are in the wrong place.
There is no "i" in team. The onus is fully on the players.

It will be interesting to see whether or not Murray plays ressies tomorrow if it is a disciplinary thing. I hope he does.

Ross Young was so p1ssed off with the coach didn't the Club have a farewell function for him?

I think they were thanking him for 5 years of wonderful service, he was so p1ssed off he turned up to the function.

Did I miss something with Daniel Murray? Has he done something?

As it currently stands David Johnston, Sam Butler and Christian Eyres are into the squad of 25.

Daniel Murray is out and if Johnston and Jacobs both play ressies that leaves us with 23 blokes. Who's the unlucky one to miss out seeing as there is no heat policy in place this round.

Not sure Mr AFL, he previously was censored for missing a recovery session, but that was prior to the season.

Not sure the reason for not making the squad, I thought his form in the Peel game was good.

Murray was out boozing with Spander, JKT, Dougs , Elari Rodgers etc
Then spotted the next day at a recovery session at Maccas in Northam
Apparently gorging himself on big macs under the watchful eye of Leon

Do you know this for a fact do you, or is it what someone from the club told you i reckon most moved on under their own steam maybe one or two were moved on.
