Yeh good luck to Dene White in the end his body was letting him down and I would have thought for that reason a change of captaincy was in order this year anyway. Clint Jones has to be a Monty with Troppy as his deputy.

Clint Jones would be a good captain. But in saying that he's already a leader on the field. The Captaincy could go to someone else with Jones offering advice.

Just on our recruiting I think thus
far it's been average at best.
On the captaincy I think Tropiano would be a shoe in.Has been at the club a few years,has turned down more than one offer to leave and leads by example.Clint Jones would also be there high up in the leadership group.

I agree 30plus. Recruiting this season just hasn't had the same lustre that last season had. Have got a couple of our own players back hopefully they can make an impact. If we get a couple of injuries next season to say Angus Graham, Spencer White and Brent Latch I reckon that will hurt us a lot.

Hopefully the club is in talks to get a second ruckman that can play up forward before the season starts. I know it's getting late and the longer it goes the more unlikely it is that we won't get one. I remain slightly optimistic though as Hamish Shepherd was signed about this time last year.

A fair chance that the new captain will be Michael Sinclair..IMHO

Personally, I would like to see Macca given the captaincy. Jones will probably only play another year or 2 and will be a good on field mentor for a young captain. Nothing against Trop or Sinclair, I just think Macca is the better choice for captain.
