Flip of the coin I reckon, our midfield will be to strong should get plenty of is50's it's whether we can convert, on the other hand Notte and Cary could have a big influence.

It's not often we get to go to Bassendean to play a pretty weak Swans outfit and a game we go into as slight favourites.
But then again this is Perth we are taliking about.
If any team in this comp could find a way to lose it we are it.

10 goals may be enough to win this, both teams at present are not capable of kicking much more.
Doubt this game will be one for the highlights reel.

I reckon Swans by a few based purely on "home ground " advantage.

As usual the Black Duck hating umps will do a number on us and let Perth win, then even the free kick count up in the last ten minutes.

Absolutely hope not,but at Senior Level,we will struggle ourselves, unless we figure a few things out, like overuse of the pill and bad use at that and Kicking Goals.

Hope Monday proves me wrong and I'm strutting around Tuesday Morning, like the Doug Demon of old.

The midfield holds the key here like most games. If Swans can get their share of clearances we will be competitive because our forward line has a few more options than Perth I believe. However it is pretty hard to score enough goals when the ball is in the opposition forward 50 most of the time which has been the case with Swans all year.

30+ this season that 'home ground advantage' you post about has involved us rolling out the red carpet from the opposition change rooms in the Billy Walker Stand to the playing field and virtually treating all visiting teams to a day spa in the Swan Valley for the afternoon!

The 'home ground advantage' (or lack of it) is quite interesting in this match.
Swan Districts at Home matches are currently running at -42.

Can PERTH take advantage of another Chief Tormentor's absence in Tallan Amrs?I'm not holding my breath here. :pinch:

Ames has actually been named in the team Grassy, although I'm not entirely convinced that he will run out on Monday.

You're all going to have to stop getting stuck into the umpires.
Apparently, they are costing the football commission too much money apparently?
