The game summed up pretty well by all posters.
For me it is hard to question the players' desire and intensity after the first 7 minutes. We have to stop giving away the start. Some good moves by DM to stop the bleeding.. Bevan and Mitch Morton sent into the midfield for some leadership to spark the team from a dreadful start.
From there on we were on top but desire and intensity are not enough when you make so many silly blunders. Unforced errors at crunch time will not win games. Skill level and decision making has to improve or we are headed for a very average season.
And while I'm at it,it bewilders me why when we got to a 3 goal lead in the last quarter with all the momentum going our way we shut up shop. There is something very wrong with our football philosophy. We lose too many games like that. IMO we should grind it out and not let the opposition back into the game.

Well the Dees should at least be pretty happy they are sitting 2-2 and not 1-4 ..... much better position to be honest , still right in the mix

I just want to reiterate I'm still flat after the weekend but not much mention has been made of Ben Powers debut. 19 touches, 6 marks, 5 tackles, 27 hit outs and a goal. Nic Nat could only dream of those numbers. He and Dekkers will make a good duo when he returns

I agree Sacko. Been very disappointed all week. Just starting to rally now. The Redlegs to Demons radio show helps a bit. Marty speaks very well.

I would rather be 2 and 2 and win 4 of the next 6 to make us 6 from 10 than like last years where we were 4 and 1 and then 5 from 10.
