Can someone give me a summary of Lynch and Powers game. By the stats they did alright. Also spears that we really missed Leyendekkers today. Any idea how long Eyres is away.

One point losses are hard to take before but could have done the other way. That's 3 slow starts/not taking your chances in the opening quarter. Need to fix that.

I agree with Power and just saw Lynchs stats. Much better than I thought.

Got a bit emotional today and told Manuel (as the were working off) he should make sure to ask for ressies next week. Got a filthy look from Jarrod Morton and rightly so. I want to be able to celebrate the wins and wont be able to if i give in to abuse. Just hope that Manuel cares as much as I do.
Victorians still laugh at West Aussies because of the way we bailed out the vfl and then allowed it to be called it the AFL!

Power was excellent and Ugle really impressed me for Perth.
Swans never gave up but Perth really switched off, 3 goals at the end to win the game, Davis was outstanding for Swans and Cary dangerous all day.

The sooner we give our coach the flick the better!!!

Do we do all of our training on the boundary lines??
We kick it out on the full enough times when under no pressure and when we attack its around the flanks the longest way home??
Heres a suggestion get a Key Forward(CHF) with height so when the players go forward they can go direct and with confidence instead of just kicking and hoping for the best.

Could someone tell McMahon that the time to put the spare player in defence was when he hit the front by 3 goals at around the 16 to 18 minute mark and not do it when we lost the lead!!!
You allowed Swans in the last 5 minutes to dictate play and pump the ball in Swans forward line with precision..
And to top it off he sends Moody down there when he looked most likey and damaging in the forward line in the last quarter.
McMahon obviously doest rate talls in his team!

We have a few players imo who just dont improve and offer much on match day, when you compare Swans second tier players to ours they run rings around us.

We have a 10 point player playing ressies its week 5 he's either up to it or he's not, work it out!!

I was really disappointed today firstly with the 5 goal start we gave Swans and secondly our tactics late in the game,it cost us 4 points!

For what its worth your grandma's recipe looks quite appetising. Am a bit partial to a feed of duck here and there myself although like to leave it to cricket season is underway ;)

That's crap. I'm definitely not a McMahon fan but he can't kick the farken thing for them. We did everything to win that game then did everything to lose it. His coaching was fine today. Poor skill errors and decision making again at critical times was the difference I could name 3-4 blatant ones but won't bother. To be honest Manual was pathetic today. Not even close to league standard. Dene White was an absolute warrior. Power looked very good. No tall forwards again when it counted and they had 3. I had no emotion when the siren went coz the minute we got 3 goals in front I felt sick. We would have been better off being behind with 10 minutes to go. And the umps kissed us on the dick today without questions

Can't believe that we won that game. I remember looking at the scoreboard half way through the last quarter, Perth were 90 and Swans were 73. I was thinking at that stage that Swans were cooked and all Perth needed to do was push up and score one more goal and that was it for us. This is where the Dees should have really put their foot on the throat and pushed for that goal but I thought they were just content to hang back and kick the ball around to each other.

All it needed was a turnover and a quick goal by Swans and this is what happened and the Ducks seemed to lift from there and had all the momentum. I know its easy to be critical of your own team when beaten but credit must go to our guys who never gave up even though it looked like they were shot. There is a real spirit about this team that is the most obvious since 2010 and that is why I have enjoyed the first four weeks of the season. They are playing for the jumper and Harding should take a bow for bringing them all together like this. Things will get tougher for them make no mistake but they are giving us fans their money's worth at the moment.

One thing I noticed about Perth was their tendancy to kick the ball around the 50 metre arc continually until they could spot up a lead in the forward line. This is a common tactic for AFL clubs but I wonder if WAFL teams are skilled enough to do this consistently. Perth did get a few goals from this patient build up but there were a number of stuff ups as well. Sometimes it may be just better to put it to the top of the square and trust your forwards to take a grab.
