Cesspit wrote: A huge game on sunday. Hopefully Moody will be back and Leyendekkers is fit. I doubt if Bateman will be right to go and Hodge still a fair way off. We had some real under performers in the midfield against WP. If we don't improve in that area then Elari, Riggio, Faulkner will be a problem all day. Hug and Richardson well off the mark last game. Possibly bring in Lynch who has been very good in the ressies and maybe even Tim Hunt as an onballer.

The defensive match ups will be interesting. Risol on Carey, Kane or Busher on Gaeppen. I would play Cale Morton up forward again alongside Stack and Bevan. Jarryd Morton doing well in defence. Perhaps Mitch should be used mainly in the midfield.

Cesspit I was just looking at the stats from the first 3 ressies games and Lynch and Hunt are definitely capable of getting hold of the ball. Not sure who is a good fit for Carey. Hes only a small fella from all reports and we may need to send one of our midfielders back to cover him?

Both teams have their tails up prior to this match being competitive in all games this year. Perths biggest test will be against Swans midfield and Swans biggest test will be against our forward line options. Definitely keep Keast in tagging role maybe on Elari and a forward line of Mitch Morton, Stack and Collard.

repeat of the game last year when we were overrun in the last after being 17pts up with 5 minutes to go (as DW has eluded the yellow football was the culprit). Both very different sides to those that played last year.

Blake Borrett may be an inclusion to help out with the Ruck duties if Dekkers cant make it.

Looking forward to having the black and white army down to Lathlain as they are as good a drinkers as we are and there is always plenty of banter between us!

Demons by 1 point after the siren

Seems there are quite a few people talking about including Lynch and Hunt.

Let's not forget Moody is an in this week. (club just updated it's injury list on home page - told us they will be doing this weekly from now on).

So Moody is in for Hug or Richardson or Florio for mine. Probably Hug or Richardson.

I though Lynch was very ordinary in the scratch matches and has to string more than a couple of good games together particularly after the bye.

Leyendeckers out for 4 weeks (website). Is Eyers ready to recapture last years form? If so then in.

So I have us down for 2 changes. Stability is great for I team I reckon.

Gotta watch that young Swan kicking goals. Wouldn't like to use J Morton on him as I love the drive he gives us out of attack but he may be the man. Risol for Geappen. Like the way Risol talks down back. Similar to what Geappen does for Swans up forward.
Victorians still laugh at West Aussies because of the way we bailed out the vfl and then allowed it to be called it the AFL!

Leyendekkers is a big loss. Be interesting to see who replaces him Ben Power or Eyres? Moody would be a good in.
