That takes some pressure off our points cap DF and hopefully we have room for a couple more recruits that seem to be in the wind. Now that the AFL drafts are over surely we should know something definite very soon.
If Reimers has gone then there will be another 11 points available.
Can anyone confirm whether or not Reimers and Ali Smith are gone??

Yeah I'm pretty sure it was said that Reimers has got married back in VIC and intends staying there.

Ali Smith....I reckon you can put a red pen through his name on the list. He was treated very poorly by coaching staff last season.

Dazzler, I thought Ali's beef was with Pickering.

Did he have issues with other coaches as well??

Would love to keep him.

Above is the list of current players which adds up to 108 points I think.

We have 22 points to use lets hope the can be used on a tall marking forward and another midfielder.

Unfortunately I don't think we will be able to get another key back as I reckon a tall forward and another midfielder are more high on the priority list IMO.

Matt Moody was 5 last year boys. The only changes were Nick Kane (10) now 5 and Matt Tedesco (5) now 3.

Players that have left the club so far are Jackson Sketcher and Kyle Reimers. Sketch has gone back home as I think his girlfriend couldn't find employment or something like that. Either way best of luck to him.

Not sure why Reimers has left but he will not be at the club next year. Did not produce often enough this season which is a bloody shame because when on form extremely good player. Played his best game for the club in the last game of the year against South Fremantle.

So going on what each player contributed to the team in 2013 I believe that only Sketcher can be considered a loss.

Doesn't our points increase this year because of the alignment?

I thought that two DF and thought bloody brilliant. Wouldn't mind having a Kyle Anderson (7 points) or Fred Clutterbuck (7 points) or Frank Stockley (5 points) etc..... you get my drift, that we could have picked up using the extra 10 points.

Unfortunately I have spoken to a few people to clarify and the everyone has said the points will stay as they are for 2014. Maybe they may look at it at the end of 2014 to see how the seven other clubs adjusted and then for 2015 look at increasing it to 140 points.

Looking at that list below and thinking who could play more regularly in the league team next year or go to the next level in their development I would put the following players names up for selection.

Callum Collard, Matthew Boyle, Sean Holland, Kieran Hug, Matthew Hunt, Jarrad Irons, Cameron Manuel, Joel Leeson, Reese Richardson, David Johnston and Mitch Leyendekkers.

Alex Riiel is a big bodied kid around 190 cm tall and 95 kg's. Played 17 games in the colts last year and only 4 games in the reserves this year. From memory I think he was injured. Anyone know what has happened to him and if he's still at the club?
