Jack Avery is playing in intra club scratchie.

How do some of the recruits look?

Lane was good, got a thumping kick. Now realise I’ve been confusing him with Janes Ewing all preseason. Barwick was good too, nippy and active. 

I know I am an optimist but I think some of these recruits may work out well.PG would know what a footballer looks like you would think.​​​​​​​Here's hoping.  

Can anyone tell me who this guys is who was opposing DBW in the ruck? It wasn't Gaspar (he was there  but not playing)

Is he as tall?
Can he play?

There was quite a bit to take away from tonight’s scratchie. Some of the recruits can play..Manzone, Barwick, Lane, Ewing look good amongst others. Avery is back and looks fit. Sinclair and Taylor very solid. In fact Sinclair looked fitter than we have seem him in recent seasons.
Sustained hard running in numbers, high intensity, and generally good skills. You could see the German brand on the play.
Early days yet but we shall get a better look at it over the next couple of weeks. No wild predictions but we should be a bit better than a 2 win, wooden spoon team in 2023.
