Mr AFL it seems the only way Perth gets a fairer zoning allocation.The Wafc has done little in the last 3 decades to help Perth.

Peel is not a good example of taking the game to the people. Its just a vehicle for playing a stack of  surplus  AFL players at the moment.

Also I would have thought the original club to take the game to new locations was Swan Districts back in 1934 (all the other 7 WAFL clubs were on the Perth to Fremantle train line).
With the proposed new metro zone boundary changes a fat lot of good it has done us with all the suburbs around the original frontier club being given to our opposition who are based 20km away by the useless WAFC!

Typical Swan Districts rant..Zones have evolved over all the time we have had zones.When i joined Queen's Park junior footy club in 1967 the perth zone ended  at east cannington.Everything up to armadale was part of the south murray subarban leagie and was assigned to no one..i am sure a lot of what is your zone did not exist in 1934 and a lot was not in the swans zone.

Stop swearing at me.I follow East Perth and Derek Chadwick was one of my favourite footballers of the sixties.Was already a  royals supporter.My parents came from euorope  and not sure how i became a supporter.remember when he came to my school for footy training.It was a highlight for me as a twelve year old.Great think about queens park jfc back the was that they played in a east perth jumper with a  bit of yellow thrown in.

Well good news this morning in the paper.
Some excellent candidates have applied.
Alas I fear a decision purely based on saving money.
Or a decision based on favourite son.
We need someone from outside with experience.
I would throw the cheque book at German.
And give him the support.
The decision will tell us a lot about the future of PFC.
Not sure they are capable of making the right decision.
If not German then Rock maybe the one.

The good news.
The coach of the century didn't apply. 

IMHO, the easy option is German, only if we give him what he needs to handle the job. We cannot afford another situation as the Jarman saga. A very good coach but not given what he needed.

We have a chance to change the culture of the Club.
Right through the Club.
Board level.
Administration level.
Football Department level.
Coaching level.
Support level.
And most importantly playing level.
If we are willing to change then he must come.

If he has the same attitude he had at Subi, Germo wont put up with anything but full control of the footy department, his way or the Hwy, so if you guys get him, the players and the footy department better be ready to buy into what he brings. He will also seek an on field leader who can drive the group like he had with Richard "Cheese" Maloney. I hope you guys can get him and get the long overdue improvement your seeking.

Beautiful SS. Bring it on. It is just what this club has needed for 45 years. If we don't grab the opportunity if it presents itself then we deserve the oblivion that club will be facing.
