Or do we lack them?
I think our midfield is pretty good except clearances where we got beaten yesterday.

How did Chris Mayne go?  I noticed that he had 16 possessions so was he playing in the midfield or defence?

Maybe played mainly on the wing.
Only played about 90 minutes copped a knock on the head.
His on field leadership will huge.
And he will give us a bit.

DF Regan Clarke was best afield against Souths and dominated out of the centre clearances. Not sure why it took the coach until the last qtr to put him in there. I rate him and Burner as our best clearance players.

So if we get and McPartland in there we should win our share of clearances.
If we can do that I reckon we can go alright.
That's the only area that worries me.

Not sure I agree with that assessment. I thought Levien was their best on ground along with O'Neil.  Levien had 25 quality possessions (their second highest). 

PD, he left PFC for a reason.
I would suggest that he left SFFC for the same reason.
None of those players would get a regular game at PFC right now.
That's why they are all at WCER.
If they get games there good luck to them.

I see the West reported 3300 at the game does that seem right to those that made the game? If so its a great result.

Hard to say I didn't look up at the grandstand. Eagles fans usually turn up at the first game. Probably hoping to see a win, something their AFL team is struggling to achieve at the moment.
