I have to say I came away quite proud of the boys today. Undermanned with two players down, Grey to a hamstring and Clark a broken hand both in the second qtr I think. Too many turn overs from over use of the handball in the first qtr cost us but once they stopped fiddling around with it we looked a lot better.

We’ve found one in Jack Steel I reckon. He continues to grow in confidence. Great game by Burner who is back to his best.

Changes are imminent I believe re the zones. Question is will it be enough? Big date coming up re the development.

I was impressed with Perth today, they could have easily dropped their bundle after the first 15 minutes but they kept at it and I must admit we got a few very soft free kicks in front of goal which enabled us to maintain the 3 - 4 goal margin. Even so, Perth still had a chance to snatch it up till time on in the last quarter.

Watched the game on replay.
Slow start again hurt us and dumb over use of the ball in the first quarter lost us the game.
Other than that endeavour was there.
In all fairness I understand the frustration of our situation but I do think injuries have ruined our season.
And blow me down 2 more today before 1/2 time.
Grey again and a handy Clark.
That is over 20.
I hope the big date with development is good news about it going ahead.
There is certainly concern regarding the Board's black out on information to members and supporters.

Take 20 players out of Subi's list and see how they go.
Or any team for that matter.

Losing 2 players for the whole second half was difficult  add to that Matt Rogers playing the bulk of the game for 3 possessions. He is having zero impact and gets caught holding the ball over and over.

Today did feel like an improvement on previous couple of weeks.

League Down 2 players for a half
61 possessions
39 marks
14 inside 50’s

Free kicks 14-20 but where the free kicks were paid made a difference to the day, as mentioned Swans got a couple of super cheapies

I agree about Jack Steel he looks promising.

The additional injury toll means beating West Coast looks difficult, finishing last is now a distinct possibility.

Hey 30plus,

Do you have inside knowledge ?
Who can you see leaving at the end of the season ?

Not sure who mentioned it but the lack of updates from the Club is disappointing.

I don’t have inside knowledge re- leavings
but i can’t see the likes of McIness and Gray both getting older injuries etc I can see pulling the pin,Rogers will probably give it a thought of retiring.
A few of the more senior players may look at it and think is it worth it.
Just a gut feeling I have nothing more.

TOVP set to meet to decide in the middle of August. I think it might come down to what Perth FC wants and TOVP is prepared to contribute.
