In other words the members would need to vote for it.

I agree 100% with Ted. It will be end for me with Perth if we become the host club with those dogs. What concerns me is that I am not sure there will be that much pushback against it by people like Shields and Lofts. 
as for today’s game, selections are again very hard to follow. Why is Eyres still playing reserves with all the on field leadership we are lacking. He should be leading the ruck today and Reid should be playing ressies. 
Perkusich and Bird. Why? Moss never seems to reward good reserves form, he picks blokes who have made no impression in the 2s. Petetier and Quill should be playing today.
 

I think that's right, DF. That is a safeguard of sorts, but no guarantee. As I said, it's all about where we are at on field. If we are at least competitive, there will be some optimism which will translate to resolve to maintain our integrity. If we go back to how things were from 2014 - 2018, winning two games in a season, we will be vulnerable. I hope I'm wrong, but if we have another extended period of failure, people will not so much support an alignment as stop caring, they just won't turn up to cast a vote.

We have a club hierarchy that has closed shop on info and lost its way.
We have once again at our disposal a sub standard league squad.
I await for the end of season mass leavings/retirements and the continued non-recruiting of key personnel.
It’s getting easier to find other winter interests.
