Injury list down to 3 players: Loersch, La Fontaine and Smith.
We should be back to full strength for the Subi game and refreshed after a mini break and resolved to be much  more than a nuisance to Subi than last time we met.
The finals door is still ajar but every game is important. We need to do a lot of things right if we are to push that door wide open.
Very little margin for error  or complacency from here.

That is why  I am not confident facing up to you at Medibank this week.
Your mob will be stirred up after defeat by Swans and will bounce back.  We could be your sacrificial lamb no doubt. We will need to play above ourselves to match you. Should be a good game hopefully.

Yes Smokey noticed that injury list earlier today. They need to bring DBW straight in along with tubby Taylor if he is available and surely it's time to put Yeo in there.

Time for the club to stand up. No excuses anymore.

Agree DD. Taylor in will be huge. We have missed his long kicking and run off half back. Backline back to full strength, Busher at FF hopefully he won't be needed to pinch hit down back. Not sure about DBW first up.

Funny, that's what the Swans boys said after we lost to WCER. Will be a much closer game, the last one was an aberration due to your injuries primarily.

When was the last time your team lost 3 games in a row SS? I'm sure your boys will be motivated not to let happen, probably more motivated than our players to play finals but I hope I'm wrong.

Some good news and not so good news. Matt Taylor returns and Chris Masten it is revealed constantly plays with bone bruising as he doesn’t have a right posterior cruciate ligament. Ouch!!! That doesn’t sound good. One wonders if he will play out the final year of his contract next year.

Good to have Taylor back. At this stage, the only change I would make is Hayward out and Taylor in. However, the coach might want to send a message to Langlands. If Busher is fit, he should come in at the expense of Hill or Steel. We have to play Busher at full forward. We have Avery, Gibba, Sinclair, Nicholas and Hill as 190cm defensive options. We have Fisher, Clarke, Masten, Richo, Davis, Edmonds, who can play wing - or play Nicholas as a tall wing. There is no need to play Busher defence or wing. Up forward... we average 9 goals a game. Our highest goal kicker, Cary, has 16, after that Stubbs has 10, and that's about it. Clearly our greatest need is forward.

The forecast is not kind to us. After a week of rain, it clears up for Saturday. Leederville is a terrible ground, so hopefully the rain during the week will make the ground heavy and boggy. That may restrict Subi's run a bit. However, on a dry day, expect them to overwhelm us with pace, spread and work rate.

Couldn't agree more. To win games you need to score. Busher at FF and Fraser at CHF and lock that in. If you want a floating defender starting on the wing, then I suggest Nicholas. He is quick, a good mark and generally makes good attacking choices.
