Your right Ted, Leederville does not cope well in the wet after WC demanded the surface and substrate should be more Melbourne like ie mud based several years ago when they used it as an alternate training venue so their precious boys could get used to mud, given the grounds they play on in Melbourne are almost pristine or under cover it didn't make much sense. There was no requirement for them to reinstate the original sand base so the oval doesn't drain well and with two teams training there and 3 or 4 games there every week it doesn't get an opportunity to recover. Will it help your boys? not so sure given you train and play on a bowling green, subi play and train on the opposite.

It will certainly be a game to have the long stops on the footwear. I think this will be a pretty competitive game, the last time we played was a aberration imho.

SS, the reason I think it will favour Perth - re the margin, not the result - is that we are slow and struggle to kick more than 10 goals. We are also slow starters - the last three games have been effectively over at quarter time. So we need an ugly, low scoring game to have any chance.

Ted I can’t believe you only want one change to the team from the South game. The reserves last week was full of league quality players and we need hard nosed experienced players to have any chance against Subiaco. Rogers, Yeo, Eyres, Edmonds, McPartland, even Richardson should all be seriously looked at, and Taylor of course will come straight in. I’m not that confident about Busher playing but let’s hope he is 100%.
As for the outs well Hayward, Steel, Langlands, Reid and Avery must be under the pump. I can’t see Avery playing now that we have Taylor and Sinclair both available. He has been good in patches but we need more than that right now.

Just watched the latest video from the Club.
Brady Grey and Samuel Stubbs talking about the significance of the Naidoc jumper which Sam designed.
Didn't realise that that he was originally from Kalgoorlie.
Hope he kicks the winning goal this week against Subi.

Bush not named
Victorians still laugh at West Aussies because of the way we bailed out the vfl and then allowed it to be called it the AFL!

This psychological garbage of putting up Teams in random positions is BS.

Put your team up and leave it there.

Best L F pocket / Best FF / Best R pocket

Best L HFF / Best CHB / Best R HFF

and so on

1) Players like to see their name in a possie and visualise it 2 days out.
2) The club states it is happy with its team and are coming at you

Not sure both 2 dads and Eyres will play ressies.
We were always going to get "reamed" in this one.
Subi work harder.

Looks like Grey and Taylor are starters along with Jye Clark.
Rogers replaces Langlands. We need grunt and leadership from him. And we need some support for players being targeted.
As a team we must all stand up and be accountable and not intimidated.
The game starts at the first siren and the desire, the focus and the intensity must be taken right up and maintained for 120 minutes.
DF, we just have to match their hardness. They wont like that.
