It had to happen, well done to Perth, they choked us all over the place. Terrible game to watch but Perth played the game, worked hard and were able to take good strong pack marks. After 19 straight losses to us, it had to happen. Well done Demons. keep well all.
Thanks Winger much appreciated. You’ve had a very good run against us.

Ted, Nicholas copped a corky last week. Managed to play out the game but is often the case with corkies they flare up in the days after. Hopefully he’ll be right to go against Subi and try and keep Connor Sing in there and allow Busher to drift between wing and forward to provide another target.
Get on your bike.

Watching the game again (and enjoying the endeavvour af all players)  I can't help but think that H Busher's influence over this period is immnense.
I suspect not all will agree but I think C Eyres needs to be recognised for his herculean efforts not just this year, but over past years as well.
I said last week  that the "Real Test" would come next week - all involved have  have excelled!
Now the real test is under lights next Thursday

We continue to demand more!

I just have to pinch myself when I consider who we have out at the minute: Yeo, Smith, McInnes, Masten, Nicholas, Sinclair, Gibblett,  Grey, Richardson, Colledge, DWB. There’s 4 of our best defenders, our best forward, and a good chunk of a midfield, including our first choice ruckmen. That’s half our best 22.

Spot on PD. That is exactly half of our best 22. It seems that we have much more depth than we realised.
I thought that the young players that we brought up yesterday were very good.
How good could we be when we get a few of those injured boys back??

Incredible isn’t it. The ability to find players to step up in a crisis has been incredible. Horses for courses. McPartland, Hayward and Sing were all great contributors and role players yesterday and congrats to Brodie Grey, really solid late notice debut.

Hats off to the coaching team. For once we sought to negate the WP prime movers and it worked. Reckon we had about half a dozen different tags going over the course of the day yesterday. To do that and still stay offensively potent was a credit to the coaches box.

Certainly am DG.
Looking forward to Thursday.
Hopefully another monkey off the back.
We live in hope.
However 2 weeks ago if you had offered me 2 out of 3 of SF, WP & Subi I would have taken it.
I was expecting nil, but have been pleasantly surprised.
It's not the size of the dog in the fight. It's the size of the fight in the dog.

Just finished watching it. Gee Black is good for them and their small forward should be looked at by an AFL club.

In regard Perth. I have been very impressed with Coniglio for  a long time, but the whole back line has been great of late (Taylor, Hill, Fisher.
Jye Clark has had a fantastic start to his career, very hard at it. The Bush has been amazing back for us.
Cary and Stubbs forming a nice combo. Must leave McPartland in the team.
If Edmonds can stop getting his kicks smothered as often as he does he could become more handy.
Brodie Grey had a solid debut. Connor Sing pretty good - was his last league game against Subi under lights in 2019?
Regan Clarke and Byrne great for there size. Langlands a very good recruit from what I have seen.
Yes Austin Davis needs to find his kicking boots.
Eyresy was great.
Corey Hitchcock looked happy after the game - didn't play ressies so must be injured - he looks a lot like Rogers.
On Rogers I am glad he got that goal as he has looked a bit down on form lately, he enjoyed the win as much as any one though.

Brady Grey, Sinclair, McInnes, Gibba, Josh Smith and Nicholas are the only walk up starts, maybe Colledge who had 29 in the seconds yesterday too - but gee who to put out of these gutsy performances.

Wouldn't be many giving us a hope on Thursday - but maybe our desire may continue and might not be there for $ubi.
Victorians still laugh at West Aussies because of the way we bailed out the vfl and then allowed it to be called it the AFL!
