Interesting. Presumably Hitchcock injured. He was energetic last week, I liked what he did. Peletier unlucky, did a lot of good work off the ball. Congrats to Simon Hayward. Been a bit of a journey for him but he was a very capable mid with a decent hoof on him at colts level.

Tip for the brains trust - don't burn Sing a second time by playing him on the most dangerous forward on the ground like he endured in his debut.

Agree re Peletier. He surprised me last week and kicked a great goal.

StT, Manzone is an out for WP, so one less to worry about. It's not clear to me what Sing and Hayward have done to be elevated, but good luck to them. It's also unclear what Peletier did to get dropped. Personally, I'd rather have bigger bodies in the wet, like Colledge, Gray and Hitchcock. Still, as StT said, Moss pulled one out of the hat last week. Maybe there are things supporters don't see that cause players to get dropped, not playing to structure, or lack of defensive pressure, things like that.

Good luck out there tomorrow, I dont envy you having to go out to South Geraldton on a shitty wet windy arvo, it's windy and cold on the best of days and little or no cover for opposition punters.

Just sit in the grand stand  - the Joondalup fans may have a few roos loose in the top paddock but they are harmless enough.

Yes, I agree. Peletier did some good things last week including causing a turnover and kicking a goal. But, a couple of times he sidestepped the contest for the ball as he is prone to do.
I could not see any reason for Hitchcock to be dropped. I thought he made a good start and would be persevered with.
I hope that we don't let McPartland to be stuck in a forward pocket all day. That is not his go. He must play where the action is and he will get the clearances or ensure the halves the contests and causes another stoppage.

Hitchcock and Pelletier are not named in the reserves so I’d say they are injured. Big call on Sing to replace Giblett. Surely he won’t line up on Keitel, but he is the full back in the ressies so maybe he will be given first chance. I do agree that Busher is the best option but he may play the swing man role again.

Peletier and Hitchock dropped according to the West. A bit harsh on those two but I liked some things I saw from Hayward in pre season. He is an in and under type similar to McPartland so the strategy seems pretty obvious.

Pelletier pulled out of a contest didn’t he? Probs been sent back to subi.

He did, or got called out, but he had a good game otherwise apart from getting pushed off contests a bit too easy so he's a bit unlucky as is Hitchcock but the selections make sense with more ground ball players coming in
