With Grey out we have another 10 points to play with. We need to maximise the value of all the points we have available.
If we get Schofield that will take care of Grey's points.
We still need a ruckman and a tall key forward who will kick 50 odd goals for us.

Why does it mean Grey can’t play for us? Women’s season is played over summer to avoid clash with men. Is it because this shows he is back in the eagles fold, ie, he won’t coach the women’s team while playing for a rival club?

Play for the WCE WAFL team, a job at the club & assistant coach for the aflw team.

Not sure what you are on about linking Grey with the Eagles women's team. Adam Simpson assistant Michael Pratt has been appointed coach of the Egirls.

Bummer, they will probably offer Will Schofield something similar. I must have got Daniel confused with Michael Pratt our colts coach.

Thinking it through, I cannot see why Brady Grey could not play WAFL footy next year whilst being an assistant coach of WCE AFLW team. There is no time conflict between those competitions and it would seem unusual to expect any contractual conflict between the two.
