... if folk here think Cottesloe is worth Applecross and Canning Vale combined, then to cut out on all the messy admin stuff looking after and registering players from two zones....keep it simple and look after Cottesloe instead....less player registration admin for the PFC fark up on....

DF as for my "intimate" Demon knowledge....bit of a glass house effect there from your good self considering you seem to know first hand EF game plans for Leggett and apparently what Buffalo was whispering into Leggetts ears over the pre-season....any way I am pretty sure you Perth fans for the last 20 odd years had been looking out of your glass windows at all the other WAFL clubs playing finals footy..some more then others of course

I'm surprised you have one to be honest.
Just taking up on the apparent game plan you and buffalo had for Cody.
Pity he didn't play finals this year.
Might have boosted his draft chances.
Bit like playing HBF.

I think those 2 spoons under Spalding probably extinguished any AFL aspirations for Cody DF. .look at Trop...he won a few from memory and never got an AFL look in....pity that, pretty sure Trop would of made the most of his chances, definitely wouldn't of been seen flouting the COVID isolation rules or raising his fists to the fairer sex to self implode his AFL career that is for sure.

Well nothing Earl Spalding has done at Perth have spoilt the chances of some our young players finding places in the AFL system in the past few years or more so Leggett cannot blame Earl or the wooden spoons for being overlooked.

So, if he did not get an AFL gig then CL probably was probably not considered good enough.
He was a very good player at Perth by WAFL standards. Not sure how he is going down at Shark Park. Maybe he is a tad confused what position he wants to play.

Look - I don't care if its Canning Vale / Applecross or anything else something has to improve. My boys play in the central district comp comprised to EP, Swans and Perth.

There is no Perth Team in Division one in year 8 and 9. Only 1 team each in B division for both years Belmont. South Perth, Queens Park and the rest in C and D divisions.

FFS - Claremont in the colts finals for 25 years straight and a commission overseeing this. Should all be shot

BTW - by far the most A division team from SD.

I am not sure what OOO was mentioning re private school kids from Trinity, Wesley and Aquinus coming to Perth. The good kids from these schools are snapped up early for there WAFL aligned club.

For example a kid that plays for Coolbinia (EP zone) who won the medal for best and fairest in the Central Comp in Local footy and that also plays 1st 18 for Trinity (Perth zone) doesn't get to play for Perth. He is picked up as a talent for EP early and basically Perth will only get the kids not good enough to be picked up by their local WAFL clubs - obviously excluding local Perth clubs.
