Just watched the replay and I'm not sure the defeat was necessarily completely due to the umpies.
Although there were some puzzling decisions.
And I do think the free kick against Nicholas was very unlucky.
He did have his arm around the WP player but I'm not sure his movement was impeded.
Was never in front of the contest anyway.
Seen many similar called play on.
Having said that we did miss 3 of our first pick midfielders.
Masten, Yeo and Byrne.
Needed some experience to steady us under pressure.
A good hard fought effort and I think we finished the year a lot better than I thought we would.
Some of our lesser lights surprised me pleasantly.
Augurs well for 2021.
Stick at it guys.

My understanding games will be played at Lathlain.
I may be wrong but I also understand some assistance in regard to premises sharing from the WCE maybe on the cards.
Not certain of the arrangements.
Someone else maybe able to clarify that.

I imagine that the ground will be available for games and yes I too heard that we will be able to share WC's facilities - short term. The lady at the office told me not happening this summer. I reckon it's still a long shot for summer 2021 - love to be wrong. Have your wallets ready Dee supporters
Victorians still laugh at West Aussies because of the way we bailed out the vfl and then allowed it to be called it the AFL!

Well done to all the Perth supporters that turned up yesterday. We certainly made some noise and let the opposition know we were there.

Some stiff decisions didn't go our way and neither did the bounce of the ball. As someone mentioned above, West Perth would get a quick kick off the ground and it would fall into the lap of another Falcons player.

Proud of our effort yesterday but we now need to reset and go again. Need to keep moving forward and not just be happy with breaking a 23 year finals drought.

Hopefully the loss spurs the boys on in the preseason and we come back with a renewed focus and hungry to make the finals again next year and hopefully get a finals win.

I am gutted by the result and it will take some time to get over it. Yes it was a good effort and everyone gave their all but I thought we should have won the game. From about halfway through the first quarter to halfway through the last we out scored them by 5 goals to 1. We seemed to be well on top and when Rogers put us 8 points up I was hoping like well we could keep going and record a fantastic win. Alas it wasn’t to be. WP lifted their rating and we seemed to drop off slightly which was all it took. Credit to WP at the end as their players really hauled them over the line. We weren’t helped by a couple of dodgy umpire decisions but that wasn’t the difference, I don’t think.
To be a bit picky in hindsight, I’m don’t think Delahunty should have played. We seemed a bit top heavy for that weather. Maybe Clarke or Henderson or even Browne should have played. Anyway who knows what the team will look like next year. We will lose McDonald and O’Driscoll in the draft.
The unknown is what happens with Gray, McIness and Fisher. I agree with all of you the crowd was tremendous and we gave great noise and support.

Hopefully Grey, McInnes and Fisher all decide to stick around. Have heard that they'd like to which is positive news.

Adding Yeo, Byrne and Masto into the midfield next year will definitely help as well.

Yep and a pacey small crumbing forward would be great as well

According to the prez a few players approached him after the game and told him no one is going anywhere. I'd previously heard Fraser and Grey had already committed for next year but Fisher was undecided. Sounds like he's now made up his mind which is fantastic news.

I wasn't too sure about him until I think it was the game against Subiaco when Earl threw him in the middle after Masto got injured and since then he hasn't looked back.

Who cares where they were, finals always bring out more supporters well other than WP fans today I suspect that was just your normal home and away supporters there.
If Carnwest wants to come on here with comments like that I just hope you put up a good showing down at the Port next week.

West Perth are a good chance to roll South Freo next week and the WP supporters will get along and cheer them on...cause they can

I certainly hope its not a WP v Claremont GF, the one positive is capacity wont be a problem at Freo, Given the turn out of WP and Claremont folk on the weekend in fact you could play it at Claremont. Weather didnt help I guess, better weather and Perth would of had an extra 1000 there perhaps.

Bazza other than there small stands at Joondalup WP had stuff all supporters in the outer.
The small capacity of the GF guarantees a sellout regardless of who’s playing.

TBH mate, if its WP v C a reckon they might struggle to get 10K.
