After nearly 60 years of watching us play shit football at this disgraceful excuse of a football ground.
If our coaches want the secret to playing this ground just give me the rains for the day.
This is a danger game of being beaten by a second rate side.
It's not the size of the dog in the fight. It's the size of the fight in the dog.
Winning isn't everything. It's the ONLY THING !!!!!!

The best thing will be bursting the Perth bubble.

You boys lose this and you're the same as us. 2 wins. Yeah, we've played the extra game but that was V SF.

Looking forward to seeing the Quill v Leggett match up- considering it was pretty much a straight swap

History suggests we will lose this. If we ever going to break the EF Oval hoodoo, the last few years presented the perfect chance while EF have been as weak, if not weaker, than us. Even then we couldn't get the job done and I don't think we will again.

Quill is out for 4 weeks - should have been dropped anyway. The logical small forward replacement would be Roe. Possibly bring in BJ for Jones, maybe Nicholas for Hansen. I'd rather see Sinclair in the backline as I think the defence has been vulnerable and looked disorganised.

Injury list has Clarke out for 2-3 weeks. No mention of Burke. Does anyone know what is going on? He's not on the injury list, but nor is playing league or reserves. Is he still at the club?

Come on Teddy surely your using the reverse mock psychology! on what i've seen it would take a major form reversal for the Sharks to get up who for whatever reason don't seem to be showing their normal grit and resolve which they normally show regardless of the talent they have on the park, and with McInnes and the whiz kid upfront how are they going to outscore you?

RL, our midfield is very shallow and lacks pace. After Masten and Gray, we have Payne, who is an honest player, but will only every get 15 or so possessions. Colledge is ok, but slow. Neither provides any run and carry or penetration. After that, we are resorting to makeshift midfielders like Sinclair. That is at the expense of our backline which was heavily criticised by the commentators last week. Our tall forwards are our saving grace, but we lack a good crumbing forward. I think we have a lot of deficiencies and have no idea what game plan to bring to EF.

Don’t worry DF, the rains could well come on the day...they’re forecast. MRP coach should take your offer up and hand you the reins for the day. You wouldn’t win the game, but you’d win the fights......
And you can’t really suggest EF will win? You’re just covering your arse in case.

Perth haven't beaten East Fremantle at Shark Park since 2009 I heard on the radio this afternoon.

KCEF, what's this "bubble" you speak of? The one where Perth fans are hopeful that we may scrape into 4th? Yep, we are clearly getting ahead of ourselves and need to be taken down a peg.

Ted we have an historic 45% win ratio against EF. A pretty sad performance over so many years. No doubt the ratio for games played at Shark Park would look even more dismal.

The loss of Byrne, Murphy and Yeo is having a huge impact on our midfield performance. If he is fit enough Casey Nicholas would slot back on HB flank and allow Sinclair or Taylor to run through the midfield. Perhaps Austin Davis could be tried in the midfield.
I like Payne and Colledge. The latter is not quick but he is very useful at the clearance. He does play with a back problem I believe.
Given our performances at Shark Park, a loss Saturday will leave us in a poor position considering the very short season. It will be our 2020 Grand Final IMHO

What we need to do is win our games against the 4 lesser teams - Peel, EP, EF and SD - and then snag one other win against the other 4. It's possible than 4 wins would be enough, but having won by modest margins in the first two weeks, our percentage may not be enough with 4 wins. The fixtures haven't worked out that well, in that I'd rather have the winnable games at home, but ultimately, if we can't beat all of Peel, EP, EF and SD, we don't deserve to play finals.
