Perth are quoted at a dollar 33 apparently.

Well I didn't go - but hardly a convincing win looking at the stats. I just heard that we missed 2 set shots from the goal square in the last which would have made the score look a bit better.

I got EF @ $3.5 to $1 and couldn't not bet on them as they have beaten us there 15 times in a row. Very happy to lose the $100 though.

Big win by 'Can I Have a Handout Pretty Please West Perth' today over EP. Similar to EF they have had their merry way with us for many's a year. Lets turn our attention to them now.

5 disposals from Jacob Payne 'from the centre?' doesn't sound too flash. Injured or played somewhere else.

Just big ‘f*ck you’ to EF and Cody Leggett. Would like to have belted them, but given our record down at that shit hole, I will take any win.

For the third time in as many games, I can only say: take the win, but unconvincing. Two scarcely believable misses in the last quarter. We could have gone 4 goals up and killed off the game. Instead, after having the ball in our forward line for the first 12 minutes of the last quarter, EF goaled with their first foray forward and backed it up 90 seconds later. Our defence looked panicked again. However, a 27-14 free kick against us didn't help.

Does anyone know how the reserves went? Did anyone put their name forward? Langdon has to go. 4 disposals, no marks, gave away 2 free kicks. I have no idea what we think he offers the team. If BJ hasn't spat the dummy in frustration, bring him in for Langdon. Payne survives just because there's no-one else, but needs to improve if he wants to avoid losing his spot to Clarke or O'Driscoll in a couple of weeks.

We will need to be a lot better to knock off WP.

Well done on the win boys...was it a six point thriller as described in The West match report? Looked like Perth kept that couple goals ahead all day....initially with dead eye dick kicking for goal early on....sounds like the free kick tally kept EF in the game then.

Ted, the reserves game looked like a point scoring feast mate...4.10 - 4.9 to EF...goal kickers but no stats on WAFL.com.au mate....

Ted, can you please let me know what posse Langdon plays? If a backman on a key forward 4 disposals not necessarily as bad as it sounds. Also who is BJ?

Ressies lost by a point - no stats given though 34 to 33

TFAF, BJ is Blake Johnson. 193cm, local player, had some injury problems, but seemed to be coming good second part of last year. I am concerned he is frustrated at being overlooked, as I assume is Josh Burke. I'd concede your point re Langdon if he'd done a number on Shaw or Gault, but no-one in EF forward is nearly that threatening that you have to completely sacrifice your own game. Langdon has no game to sacrifice. He is slow and lumbering, and just out of his depth at this level.

Thanks Ted and Dazzler. 193cm's nice. I have seen many a player get frustrated over the years. It must happen at every club, difficult to entice players to train and only play ressies for sure. But some clubs do it better than us. As John Townsend said WP(hand out and all) have had 20 -150game players this century to Perth's none. Gee great that Clint Jones coming along to games. Would love him to be involved at any level - playing level preference

I thought Legxit was pretty good for us today although he almost set them up for a win the last five minutes with some telling booming kicks. He’s an emotional player and he seemed to lose it a few times today. Sad to see a great talent playing on the full back line getting cheap kicks.
