I thought Legxit was pretty good for us today although he almost set them up for a win the last five minutes with some telling booming kicks. He’s an emotional player and he seemed to lose it a few times today. Sad to see a great talent playing on the full back line getting cheap kicks.

I wasn’t there today. How did the Perth players treat, interact with Leggett?

Lapped up his multiple miskicks ans errant handballs. Gave him a few head ruffles a few times and Rogers just missed him once but other than that he spent a fair bit of time getting cheap kicks behind the ball.

In fairness to him, he hasn’t done a pre season and that may be why he’s playing behind the ball nut fmd what a waste

Well you blokes have had a good day getting the monkey of your backs where as in contrast my day has been very painful.

So we have only just beaten the Dockers reserves, lost two quarters to East Perth and have beaten East Freo by a goal. Hardly something to get excited about. They are probably 3 of the 4 teams that are going to finish out of the finals. The positive is that we have done enough to win without starring. The hard stuff begins now. Losing our two best midfielders doesn't help but we must overcome that and win win win.

A win is a win is a win.
But it is disappointing getting off to a good start and then staving the opposition off.
And having trouble putting them away.
We are winning ugly but we are winning.
We have won 3 games we should have, now comes the test, we must win 2 against better opposition.
2 of WP, SF, Subi, and Cl.
Then we must not lose to SD.
Go DEES.

Yep, we’re not settling the world on fire that’s for sure but 3 from 3 gives us a chance. A lot of new blokes in that team. Unfortunately not a season with time to build form.

Best game I’ve seen Marshall Jones play today. Played the high half forward role really well and was urgent for once and sharp with his skills

Well done Perth- got the job done and looked the better team for most of the day. EF could've pinched it but for a lack of composure late- missing some easy goals. I thought Leggett played well- not sure what you guys are talking about- had 1 or 2 bad turnovers but we saw late that once he has a full pre-season he'll be a damaging Half Back. Only one who had a run in with him all day was Brady Grey!

What do Perth supporters think of No 37? This guy is way off the pace, light years away from being a league footballer IMO. Casey Nicholas, Blake Johnson, Joshua Burke and Sam Stubbs have to come into calculations.

Kerrin Delahunty is a very handy player, kicked 5 goals in his first 3 games as a backup ruckman. Thank you Lachie for sending him our way.

Experienced players like Rogers and Sinclair need to show more composure in front of goals. Both were good players today but they nearly cost us the game missing absolute sitters.

Mathew Taylor redeemed himself after a costly second qtr blunder and Zach Hill is getting better. It’s shitting me not seeing reserves stats this year. What’s the go with that? Have the WAFC sooks spat the dummy and said fuck you to WAFL supporters who they are supposed to serve? Get your shit together you wankers.

West Perth have got 3 players in the top 5 possession winners so far. Admittedly WP have played 4 matches to our 3 but we desperately need some run and accountability next week.
