I think we have to look at the opposition that was out there today,I struggled to recognise most EP players and in all honesty after the start we got we should have won by 10 goals a win is a win and 4 valuable points I guess.

Our forward line was good although I think our half forwards got caught in no mans land on more than a few occasions.

I don’t know who our backline coach is but he has a lot of work to do.
Our backs looked lost coming out of the backline not knowing who and where to kick to and on a number of times turned the ball over and lucky for us East Perth didn’t capitalise.

Richardson’s looks a likely type and yep young McDonald will be in the AFL system next season.
There’s no doubt the absence for the season of Yeo and Byrne is going to hurt us.

For mine the next away game V East Freo in my eyes will tell me where we are at.

Just a side note could someone at that club fix the bloody PA system and whilst they are at it get a bloody decent scoreboard.

Much like the Peel game: job done, but unconvincing. Agree we need more pace and flair through the midfield, but as STT said, we lack depth due to injuries. Jones, Langdon, Hansen and Quill very poor. Quill not up to it. I'd bring in Roe - didn't do much in the reserves (who did)? but far more likely to have an impact than Quill. Beyond that, purely through lack of depth, it's hard to see any other changes. Maybe Nicholas in for Langdon.

Excellent kicking at goal - 14.4 in blustery conditions. The backline looked a bit disorganised again. We need Sinkers back to give us that cool head and intercept marking, but he also did a decent job in the midfield.

Yep, another win is a win is a win.
I liked the look of Richardson. Good size, tough and can play.
Delahunty showed enough to suggest he will work his way into the game here and will prove a handy pick-up.
The Sheriff is a passenger. For mine he is a good ressies player but not up to it at league level.
Quill provides very little. Cannot see him lasting long in the 22.
I liked what I saw of Sam Stubbs in then twos. Has a good build, tough and appears to know how to play. I will watch his progress. I think he should slot into the forward set-up ahead of Jones.
McDonald is going to be a sensation. Already is. How cool was he late in the last quarter, marking and immediately signaled he was going to soak up the 30 seconds and then kicked an amazing long goal from outside 50. He wreaks of talent. Enjoy his efforts while you can.
IMO his entry into league football is as, if not better, than was Jaeger O'Meara.

Really good game , played well and your boys were just better at it over the journey, The worst actually got the summary right for once, you looked like a team who knew each others game where as we just liked a hodge podge quickly thrown together, well done

Oh and McDonald is a player!

McDonald looks like he’s going to be a ripper.
It will be interesting to see how he performs against top quality defenders from the likes of S,SF,CL and EF Jupp

DF from your point of view probably is the next big thing and I hope for PFC and his sake he is! But we have seen them come and go before, good luck to him!

Mcdonald in his body shape and movements is a replica of a young Earl Spalding.

Good observation I’ve made that same comment myself, but I think this kid is even better.
