Good news after the bad news about our skipper.

Zach Hill and Zareth Roe both played in last Friday's scratchie. Hill back from a calf, Roe back from work commitments. Hill I'm told is available for selection.

Great news on these two talents.

Interesting selection decisions to be made this week.
Hill, Bourne, Murphy, Richardson, Marlon and Pelletier all could be considered.
Penny, Hansen, Nicholas, Quill and Edmonds all under the hammer.

Good to hear Hill and Roe are back. I wouldn't pick them this week. Given we have a bye the week after, it makes sense to give them a reserves game this week, then another week's rest and hopefully have them primed to go from there. Though Roe is inconsistent, I am hopeful that if he doesn't have the burden of being the key forward, he could be effective.

Despite our average showing last week, I don't think we should make too many changes all at once. I'd bring in Burke for Nicholas, and Richardson for Penny.

You are probably right Ted about Hill especially if he has recently suffered a calf injury. But at a minimum I would bring Mitch Lague in. Our defence looks a kit better when he and Gibba are in the same side together.

I think we need to bolster our ruck stocks against EP. They've got big Jones back from AFL and a new recruit Freeman I think his name is who is around 200cm.

DD there's a few monsters playing this year, Goddard from Claremont is another one at 202, totally dominated the hit outs and did ok around the ground for such a big body.

Yep it’s rare for us but we’ve got the luxury of a bunch of blokes around 195 +, we had a bloke 205cm on the list last year but he’s gone I’m told. We are a bit spoilt for choice this year but it’s about the right balance. I’d like to see us replace a Eyres with 2dads.
