Sneakers has done a good job thus far with the Covid stuff he know needs to get back to the whole state and work with the population, the whole of it to place us in a good fiscal and community position. Yep wishful thinking but one can one hope that in 4 years we are in a better place than we are now for the majority and not the splinter what about me minorities.

Grump, despite all the issues surrounding the Feds, today it's reported that unemployment is lower than pre- covid times, massive numbers of new jobs created, the vast majority being fulltime, women's employment is also up, so not perfect but the Feds are doing the big picture stuff better than just about any other country in the world. Anyone out there (besides the infirmed) who cant find a job just doesn't want one.

The doom and gloom that Albo's mob were talking about and secretly wishing for, with the end of Job keeper has just not eventuated.

on one hand it is a health mechanism vital to the public at large
on the other hand there can't be a killer for hire or gun warfare loose on the streets in a bloody small population
there should be a published account so the people understand everything in detail for confidence

DD why is it that some folk have latched onto this issue when it has clearly existed in this state and it appears every other state for years upon years. Why not traffic deaths or mental health issues all of which are on going issues and again have been going on for as long as I can recall.

The selectivity by some folk to push their own political view is amazing.

Well perhaps it's just that tipping point Grump and sadly it has taken the tragic loss of a beautiful young life to bring to the front of peoples hearts and minds. The fact is McGoo and Cooked wouldn't be changing a thing if they weren't railroaded and bailed up by public and demanded action and were embarrassingly forced to back down from taking 10 million dollars away from Midland Hospital so they can siphon the money into one of their pet Metronet projects.

Midland Hospital was the last place the young man from Ellenbrook visited with his mum for mental illness and was turned away before slaughtering his mother, sister and brother later that night. And the McGowan government wanted to pull 10 million out????

The bottom line is despite a massive hit the Federal Gov has economically guided us through a very difficult time via their policies of jobkeeper, etc, our recovery is the envy of the world and the closed borders have actually created more work as foreigners are not here taking them up. Or econ,y is the fastest recovering in the world by far, sure one state Victoria has been a laggard and has cost us - buts whats new.
