Wow, it doesn't take much to start the talk of governments falling to start.

Bit Jiminy Cricket for me.

A bit of wishful thinking Grump as there's quite a few issues starting to raise their collective heads which McGoo can't solve by closing the borders. He'll actually have to start acting like a multi-facetted Premier instead of a one trick pony. But then again, I look at what the Libs have thrown up over the last 4 years in Nahan, Harvey and Kirkup and it doesn't fill me with confidence that's for sure.

Exactly right, I feel pretty much like egg on face as when the app came out I was convincing tinhat people I know to trust the system the data was safe and in fact the down load gave a statement saying it was Health Dept Only usage on top of the statements from ministers , the doubters I know said mate you are a mug, don't trust them, anyway turns out I was which is bloody annoying and now all its done is embolden the anti vax conspiracy nutters.

I'd be fairly certain McGhoo will be pulling pin a year or out from next election for greener pastures.

 Swan, no one is arguing that the Feds are running around like a headless chook at times, but we are talking state issues here and state government miss-management. You said something along the lines of "the libs lost the election get over it", maybe the same can be said back to you regarding the federal situation, labour lost so get over it!!

One notable difference is that we have just had a state election and there is a federal election due soon.  If the LNP win the next federal election I will most assuredly not like it but I will have to accept it.  I certainly won't be emulating supporters in the USA of Trump who think he won and claim Labor won.

My point is that the same level of angst and indignation hasn't been articulated on this forum when it comes to federal government.

Yep DG - its a worry when the government starts actually backing up the conspiracy theories.

The only wishful thinking I have is that we have a sensible political landscape, a sensible government and that this state continues to prosper without the stupidity that is Morrison and the LNP and Albanese and the others.

Sneakers has done a good job thus far with the Covid stuff he know needs to get back to the whole state and work with the population, the whole of it to place us in a good fiscal and community position. I would make one suggestion to him and that is work with the opposition and do not adopt bulling as a tactic. Oh and any thought that we are going back to some other time is just wishful thinking on some really clever people who should stop living in the past!

Yep wishful thinking but one can one hope that in 4 years we are in a better place than we are now for the majority and not the splinter what about me minorities.
