Victoria worse than China if you can believe the figures coming from China. They recorded just 17 new cases overnight, 14 of them in Beijing. If those figures are accurate, or should I say honest, then that is a damning statistic for Victoria.

One of the most annoying things for me is the blame being placed on the ethnicity of suburbs effected when neither the state nor the federal government have done much if anything to advise the various groups, one ad on SBS repeated on hourly basis yet mainstream media has flooded the airwaves in english. And yes I know some will say that they should know the language but there are european folk my age who cannot speak it so what chance has someone from the middle east or horn of africa got!

Grump, your logic defies me. All the ethnic groups in the other states across the country appear to have got the message about social distancing etc. Perhaps it is only in Victoria that the message has not been received by the ethnic groups?????!!!!

Custodian, I have seen quite a few items from my local members to folks in varying languages and through the local councils.

The news out of Victoria from migrant councils etc all point to the same issue a lack of information they can understand. It seems whilst we have not been perfect we have been ahead of the Victorians, even the NSW folk have had more contact they can understand.

Without wanting to cherry pick through the news it just seems to me from I have read (albeit on the ABC and SBS sites) they have let down groups in their community.
