More to the point Ark....how does Archer stay in the team?....must be going at 150 runs per wicket since the bowler friendly English pitches.....

Ditto Anderson Freeze, what would be his % of wickets at home vs away?

Cheers for those stats JS.
Not surprised at the discrepancy but somewhat shocked it isnt even further apart when Jimmy moves from home to away.

Well this is turning into an intriguing Boxing Day Test at Centurion in SA.
The Saffas have left the Poms 376 to get in 2 and a bit days and at Stumps on Day 3 the Poms were 1 for 120 chasing it with Burns on 70 odd not out.
Interestingly most of the Poms have been suffering with a flu like illness during the Test with Root especially as he was off the field for most of SA's 2nd innings.

BH: thank christ they got rid of Keaton Jennings; it should be a good day's cricket, bese, I am looking forward to it; if Denley can convert one of half centuries you never know. It will certainly be an historic victory given the inability of most sides to win on the fourth innings in Pretoria over the years.

It is good to have foxtel this time of year to watch the cricket from around the world.

South Africa squeezed the life out of England today. Once Burns needlessly threw his wicket away it was a steady procession of dismissals and Ben Stokes innings was snuffed out before there was any thought of a repeat of his Headingly heroics.
I was impressed with one of their new fast bowlers Nortje. He was quick and got better as the match went on. He took the crucial wicket of Root with the new ball which broke Englands resistance IMO.
