gtr: that is true mate: GS Chappell always complained about it; in gerneral he batted well against them too, so he had a right to highlight some of Llyodds little ploys.

AR did you see the comical dismissal of Broad last night by Rabada in the 2nd Test at Cape Town?
Well worth a look for a laugh.

BH: I have not seen it mate, I will have a look on the ACB site; suffice it to say, bese, if the man was a batsman he would not be playing fourth grade in the Waca competition. He basically plays French cricket these days and, your right it looks unprofessional and comical.

TYPICAL -- the worse one I have seen was RM Hogg against WI

One would be interested to know what his father thinks of his plight?

Stu Broad hasn't been the same player since wearing one on the snout a few years back - and it was a big bad one

We are seeing Steve Smith still adapting after his own bad blow during the recent Ashes series - looking & playing like a batsman who has suddenly realised his technique is leaving hime vulnerable to the short at the body stuff

Southerner: yep, I understand completely why braod can't do it anymore mentally with the bat, it just frustrating to watch at times. I think Mike Clarke, bravely, came out and admitted that he was never the same against the fast bowllers following the loss of Phil Hughes. It is common. John trott comes to mind. As I say, I am glad broad is a bowller because he still has a test cricket career.

what it has really done is rob England of a later order allrounder - managed to scrape together a 169 in one of his career innings
very important bowler for England

The Poms are now well on top in the 2nd Test building up a 300 run lead with plenty of batsmen still in the shed, they should win easily now with 2 days remaining.

BH: gtr was right a while back when he pointed out that the poms have a good record when it comes to fighting back in test series over the years.

This is shaping as an excellent series. Barring a freak run chase or rearguard action by South Africa, it will be 1-1 with two to play. Andersons 5 - 40 must be close to his best figures in an overseas test? Still shows that he has the ability to get good batsmen out even at 37

The Poms lead is building up towards 400 now 30 mins before lunch on day 4.
SA are in a world of pain, according to the commentators over there on Sky Supersport apparently Australia are currently the only opposition team to have beaten SA at Cape Town since the readmission of SA to world cricket back in 1991/92 and we have done it 4 times as well.
