Pav has retired but not announced. Next season he is working for C7 at the games.

Looks like Pav will go, has been an out and out champion for the club and yes certain parts of the crowd last night got out of hand. Everything was fine where I was, the noise was unbelievable and the guy that hit the woman should be banned for life and jailed. I can't believe how some people on this forum just sit and wait for teams to fall and then dump garbage on them. Sad life it must be for some. I am not a Dockers supporter but I can recognise from a neutral viewpoint that over the last 3 or 4 years Lyon has got them to a stage where they are now taken seriously by the rest of the competition.

Obviously there are issues they need to address before they can move on to the step of winning a grand final but there were 14 teams in 2015 who were not good enough to get to a preliminary final. Only one team is going to be happy next saturday, it is a brutal business. How about recognising the outstanding achievement of this Hawthorn team who have maintained their hunger over a long period and are still coming up with the results?

Agreed Mike but the fact remains that the hype of a lot of folk, neutral or otherwise, are responding to the hype.

I just like good football and offer up the issues that I see with the dorkers which I suspect and many and quite important.

I was particularly interested in Clements and Whatley on the ABC, Whateley made a a particularly damning suggestion abt Lyons and Clement did not disagree and even Parkin murmured something akin to agreement. It was that perhaps he will do a St Kilda on the dockers, me I don't know but they are the supposed experts.
