There was another one too Brad Smith ex-EP after he came back from the VFL to captain-coach at EF & I think he was number 1 at EF wasn't he - was a fair while ago & I might have it wrong on his number

Yeah you might be right but he didnt play too much at Old Easts concentrating more on the coaching from memory.

Mitch Brown played a few solid games wearing number 1 in his EF days from memory :P .......can think of few half decent number 2's for EF......BH you have a fantastic memory mate......kudos to you and everyone with fantastic WAFL memories!

Big Ron & Budgie are a couple of former Old East number 2's who spring to mind freeze.

Yeah I used to have Budgies number 2 on my first ever EF jumper BH.....though Big Ron is more the hero because he efinitely turned the clubs fortunes around after those disatrous seasons of 80 -82.......thank fark Hase repaid back the mess that ex SF fella Ken Smith left EF in before Big Ron came.....

Yeah and I think Soley did himself proud in the end and really was one of our letting a ripper go blunders mate and I blame Colin Beard for it
Funny thing was we ended up getting Robbie for a few seasons down the track & like Swannie was saying he was no shrinking violet either
They were really good times brother

well I suppose Brian did invent the underground stabpass but for me he was one of the administrators we have ever had so he gets nominated for that
