Tonight its going to be a nail biter I reckon, don't expect Peru to go out easy, their fans are fanatics and they will want to play a great game as their last , expect plenty of noise and atmosphere tonight, Cahill will have to have a run if we need a goal late.

The big question of today is France? Given the fact they are already through to the qualifying rounds, how will they approach the match against Denmark? The Danes need to score to keep there hopes alive with the goal difference. If Denmark hope to progress, they must avoid a defeat. With the pressure off France will they rest some players today before the next stage of the tournament I wonder.

I agree west aussie. I don't put any confidence in the French team at all to go even close to 100% for this one, that said Denmark have lost a valuable player...even so I reckon the French are unreliable even at the best of times and if they can have a sooze for a game this will be it, the big stuff starts next week....

The full listing is not yet available. However there being four teams in the Round of 16 so far.
Currently there are two matches on Sunday the first of July in the Round of 16.
At 0200 - Uruguay v's Portugal
Then 2200 - Spain come up against Russia

Exactly mike. Not a good way for him to bow out is it? I'd very much doubt Cahill will be playing in the next World Cup in 4 years.
Still it was a good try by the Socceroos. They had an uphill battle just to qualify for the WC tournament.
I'm sure the coach will get grilled.
